The access node sends second traffic to a second core network device in the core network through a second service plane of the bearer network. Service data sent by the base station is split on the access node, and split data each corresponds to one transmission path. Even if one transmission path is completely interrupted, the service data may still be transmitted by another core network device through the other transmission path.

    Abstract: A port mode adaptation method includes a network device determining a status of a port on the network device. The method includes the network device setting a mode of the port to an Ethernet interface mode if the status of the port satisfies a first condition. In this way, when the network device identifies the mode of the port on the network device as the FlexE interface mode, and there is no link at the FlexE shim of the port, the network device may determine that a mode used by a port interconnected with the port is not a FlexE interface mode. In this case, the network device may adaptively set the mode of the port to the Ethernet interface mode, to ensure that the port on the network device can use a same mode as another port interconnected with the port.

That is, the method can include adding, to the OAM packet, identification information used to identify that signal degradation occurs in the SR-TE tunnel. As a result, it is ensured that the SR-TE tunnel supports the bit error switching function of the intermediate node, and a customer service can be effectively prevented from being damaged.

    Abstract: This application provides a network performance monitoring method, a network device, and a storage medium, and belongs to the field of network technologies. In this application, a forwarding plane samples network performance data based on a fine-grained time periodicity, and records a quantity of network performance exceptions; and a control plane generates, based on a coarse-grained time periodicity, an alarm when the quantity of network performance exceptions recorded by the forwarding plane is greater than a threshold. On a basis of meeting a fine-grained requirement on network performance monitoring, because the control plane does not need to report all the collected network performance data, a volume of data that needs to be reported by the control plane is greatly reduced. This resolves a problem of overload of a main control CPU that is caused by massive data reporting, and reduces dependency of the network performance monitoring on performance of the main control CPU of a device.

The method includes: In a detection domain to which in-situ flow metrics are applied, the head node actively generates a detection packet including in-situ flow metrics information and an analog service packet. After receiving the detection packet sent by the head node, the end node detects network performance based on the in-situ flow metrics information carried in the detection packet, terminates the detection packet, and does not continue to forward the detection packet. In the method in this application, an in-situ flow metrics protocol is extended to add an active in-situ flow metrics capability, so that in-situ flow metrics are implemented even when there is no real service traffic, thereby covering various scenarios of network performance detection.

    Abstract: This application relates to a slot negotiation method and a device. The method includes: A transmitter sends a first FlexE overhead frame to a receiver, to request active/standby calendar switching. When the receiver is in a restart state, the receiver does not respond to the received first FlexE overhead frame. In addition, the RX sends a routine update second FlexE overhead frame to the transmitter. Determining that the second FlexE overhead frame is not a response to the first FlexE overhead frame, the transmitter sends a third FlexE overhead frame to request active/standby calendar switching again. According to the method in this application, incorrect calendar switching on the transmitter side caused by a mistaken response of the receiver can be avoided. This reduces the likelihood of a service interruption caused by the existing slot negotiation mechanism.
