  • Publication number: 20250117258
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are directed to the implementation of configurable hierarchical schedulers with multiple levels, where each level may use one of several types of queueing mechanisms. A configurable, hierarchical scheduler is designed to handle large scale processing of requests (e.g., transmitting outgoing messages). The hierarchical scheduler distributes the loads to different queues handling different types of messages (e.g., by user ID, by Internet Address (IP), by schedule). The different layers of the hierarchical scheduler are configurable to queue and schedule traffic based on many factors, such as IP address, handling reputation, available downstream bandwidth, fairness, concurrency rates to handle multiple constraints, scheduling per client, time of delivery constrains, rate limits per user, domain scheduling per user, concurrency throttling per outbound channel, and sharing global rate limits across service processors.

  • Publication number: 20250114415
Abstract: A method for lowering cholesterol and lipid levels using the Antrodia cinnamomea water-insoluble dietary fiber prepared as herein. After ethanol and water extraction, Antrodia cinnamomea wastes are dried and superfine-comminuted to obtain Antrodia cinnamomea waste powder. The waste powder treated with NaOH solution containing NaBH4 is extracted it twice to obtain two extracts. The two extracts are combined and an appropriate amount of glacial acetic acid are added for neutralization. The extracts are centrifugalized and precipitate is collected. After washing the precipitate with ultrapure water, the precipitate is dissolved with LiCl-DMSO. The precipitate that is insoluble in the LiCl-DMSO solution is dialyzed and freeze-dried to obtain the water-insoluble dietary fiber component ACA-IDK of Antrodia cinnamomea. The LiCl-DMSO solution is subjected to ethanol/DMSO fractional precipitation, and then the precipitate is collected and dialyzed.

  • Patent number: 12258443
Abstract: In various embodiments, the present invention is directed to a PPF-based copolymer for 3D printing applications and methods for its making and use. These copolymers have a viscosity in a printable viscosity range and allow light transmittance at curing wavelengths. In various embodiments, a lower viscosity copolymers are obtained by substitution of a portion of maleic anhydride with succinic anhydride and then forming a poly(propylene fumarate-co-succinate) copolymer by the copolymerization of maleic anhydride and succinic anhydride with propylene oxide via Mg(BHT)2(THF)2 catalyzed ring opening copolymerization (ROCOP). Because of their lower viscosities, these copolymers require less, if any, diethyl fumarate (DEF) to prepare the 3D printing resin, while the mechanical properties can still be adjusted as with a PPF polymer prepared without the succinic anhydride.
