    Abstract: In a variety of processes for forming electronic devices that use spin-on dielectric materials, properties of the spin-on dielectric materials can be enhanced by curing these materials using plasma doping. For example, hardness and Young's modulus can be increased for the cured material. Other properties may be enhanced. The plasma doping to cure the spin-on dielectric materials uses a mechanism that is a combination of plasma ion implant and high energy radiation associated with the species ionized. In addition, physical properties of the spin-on dielectric materials can be modified along a length of the spin-on dielectric materials by selection of an implant energy and dopant dose for the particular dopant used, corresponding to a selection variation with respect to length.

    Abstract: Innovations in encoder-side search ranges having horizontal bias or vertical bias are described herein. For example, a video encoder determines a block vector (“BV”) for a current block of a picture, performs intra prediction for the current block using the BV, and encodes the BV. The BV indicates a displacement to a region within the picture. When determining the BV, the encoder checks a constraint that the region is within a BV search range having a horizontal bias or vertical bias. The encoder can select the BV search range from among multiple available BV search ranges, e.g., depending at least in part on BV values of one or more previous blocks, which can be tracked in a histogram data structure.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for a UE and its serving base station in 5G NR systems to signal channel scan or channel sensing to allow channel occupancy time (COT) sharing before transmissions. The COT sharing may be initiated by the base station or by the UE by asserting a CCA indication to enable channel sensing by a UE or base station, respectively. When the UE receives and decodes the asserted CCA indication during downlink transmission, the UE may perform channel sensing during a short interframe space (SIFS) between the downlink transmission and a scheduled uplink transmission. When the UE detects that the sensed RF energy across an intended transmission band is greater than an energy detect threshold, the UE may refrain from transmitting during the scheduled uplink transmission. A PUCCH is encoded for transmission to a base station to include a HARQ-ACK of the decoded downlink data associated with the set index. The PUCCH is encoded to further include a second HARQ-ACK for a prior PDSCH reception, when the prior PDSCH reception includes PDSCHs associated with the set index and the reset indicator matches a reset indicator of the prior PDSCH reception.
