    Abstract: The communication processing method is used in a network gateway device, wherein the network gateway device is coupled to a wireless terminal through a first wireless network and to a base station through a second wireless network different from the first wireless network. The method maintains a first TCP link between the network gateway device and the wireless terminal through the first wireless network; maintains a second TCP link between the network gateway device and a service providing server through the second wireless network; and performs a TCP transmission optimization on the first TCP link or the second TCP link to be optimized by a corresponding optimization method so as to improve a transmission performance between the wireless terminal and the service providing server. The optimization may be performed more specifically and a transmission performance between the wireless terminal and the service providing server may be improved.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an MiAN, a system and a method for finding partners for use in an MiAN cluster system. The method comprises the step of performing, by the slave MiAN, search on working channels of the proximity interface in accordance with a preset search order, and trying to establish a communication connection with the proximity interface of a master MiAN with respect to the MiANs that have been searched during the search process. When selecting the working channels of the proximity interface, all the master MiANs in the clustering system perform search in accordance with the search order, and operate on the channel which has been searched first in accordance with the search order and the channel quality of which meets a predetermined requirement. According to the present invention, the processes of finding, selecting and binding partners in the MiAN cluster system will be accelerated.

The expansible problem and system overhead due to the X2interface in the LTE and LTE-Advanced system may be reduced effectively to better support handover and interference coordination.

Different base stations from different, nearby cells shall be assigned different LA-CDMA codes so that adjacent cell interference can be reduced. While in nearby cells, the same spreading code can be assigned, therefore greatly reducing requirement for the number of spreading codes, as well as the requirement for the lengths of the spreading codes.

    Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, a method is provided for a mobile station to select one cell site in a plurality of cell sites in cellular systems with an Interference Free Window. This method is based on measurement of the signal on the downlink. In preferred embodiments, a mobile station receives the downlink spread spectrum signals from a plurality of neighboring cells. By using a RAKE type correlator or matched filter, the signal energy and the multipath delay spread profile can be estimated at the mobile station. A new function is defined as the ratio of the multipath delay spread to the energy of the received signal. Minimizing the said function will result in a cell site that provides the best quality of service in a multipath propagation environment.
