  • Publication number: 20250185130
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for powering light sources to reduce optical and/or electrical interference between the light sources and optical components in the same environment. The light sources may be powered using power modulation signals, whose frequency may be varied across modulation periods. Optionally, the frequency may be varied randomly or pseudo randomly. The systems and methods may additionally or alternatively introduce phase modulation into the control signals for driving channels of light sources. A phase difference in the control signals to at least two channels can reduce or avoid simultaneous or synchronous driving of the channels. The systems and methods described herein can vary one or more properties (e.g., frequency, phase shift, delay, duty cycle, power, etc.) of the power modulation signals.

  • Publication number: 20250160976
Abstract: A surgical robotics system with robotic arms is configurable to perform a variety of surgical procedures. The surgical robotics system can include a table, column, base, and robotic arms that are either column-mounted, rail-mounted, or mounted on a separate unit. In a column-mounted configuration, the column can include column rings that translate vertically and rotate about the column. The robotic arms are attached to the column rings. In a rail-mounted configuration, the base can include base rails that translate along the base. The robotic arms are attached to the base rails. In both configurations, the robotic arms can move independently from each other and include multiple arm segments. Each arm segment can provide an additional degree of freedom to the robotic arm. Thus, the surgical robotics system may position the robotic arms into numerous configurations to access different parts of a patient's body.

  • Publication number: 20250148274
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a deep neural network (DNN) device utilizing spin orbital-spin orbital (SO-SO) devices. The SO-SO devices each includes two SOT layers, a first spin orbit torque (SOT1) layer, a second spin orbit torque (SOT2) layer, and a ferromagnetic layer disposed between the SOT1 and SOT2 layer. Each SO-SO device further comprises three terminals, one per each SOT layer, for in plane current flow to or from the respective SOT layer, and one for perpendicular current flow through multiple layers, or the overall stack, of the SO-SO device. The SO-SO device thus efficiently provides spin-to-charge and charge-to-spin mechanisms in the same device, and can be flexibility configured to perform various functions of a neural node of a DNN. These functions include storing programmed weights, multiplying inputs and weights and summing such multiplication results, and performing an activation function to determine a neural node output.

  • Publication number: 20250139160
Abstract: An aspect relates to determining if a request received from a user device is sufficiently similar to a cached request, wherein the request requesting an identification of streamable content meeting one or more criteria. The determination comprises comparing a vector corresponding to the received request with vectors of previously received, cached requests. If the vector corresponding to the received request is sufficiently similar to a first vector of a first previously received, cached request, then a previously generated response corresponding to the first previously received, cached request may be accessed and transmitted to the user device. If a sufficiently similar vector is not identified, then at least a portion of the received request may be transmitted, in association with an identification of content items in a library, to an artificial intelligence learning engine. The response from the artificial intelligence learning engine may be transmitted to the user device.

  • Publication number: 20250121691
Abstract: Vehicles and related systems and monitoring methods are provided for detecting a loss of isolation on one side of a power converter. One method involves monitoring a normalized voltage input to a power conversion module coupled to the electric motor, in response to the normalized voltage exceeding a diagnostic activation threshold, determining a first number of instances of a range between successive extremas of the normalized voltage exceeding a loss of isolation range threshold over a diagnostic window of time, and automatically initiating a remedial action when the first number is greater than a loss of isolation detection threshold.

  • Publication number: 20250099855
Abstract: A system is disclosed that is able to combine motion capture data with volumetric capture data to capture player style information for a player. This player style information or player style data may be used to modify animation models used by a video game to create a more realistic look and feel for a player being emulated by the video game. This more realistic look and feel can enable the game to replicate play style of a player. For example, one soccer player may run with his elbows closer to his body and his forearm may swing across his torso. While another soccer player who is perhaps more muscular may run with his elbows and arms further from his body and his forearms may not cross in front of his torso when running.
