  • Publication number: 20240142277
Abstract: A position detection device detects a position of a moving member moving backward and forward in a predetermined moving direction. The position detection device includes an exciting coil disposed along the moving member and extending in the moving direction, a detection coil that outputs a voltage corresponding to a position of a detection target portion moving with the moving member by means of a magnetic field generated by the exciting coil within a predetermined detection range in the moving direction, and a calculation unit that calculates the position of the moving member by the output voltage of the detection coil. The detection coil includes a pair of coil elements whose output voltage changes according to the position of the moving member, and phases of the output voltages of the pair of coil elements during movement of the moving member within the detection range differ from each other.

  • Publication number: 20240142275
Abstract: A position detection device configured to detect a position of a moving member that moves back and forth in a predetermined moving direction is provided with an exciting coil arranged to extend in the moving direction along the moving member, a detection coil that, by a magnetic field generated by the exciting coil, outputs a voltage corresponding to a position of a detection object portion moving together with the moving member within a predetermined detection range in the moving direction, and a calculation unit that determines the position of the moving member by calculation based on an output voltage of the detection coil. The detection object portion has a predetermined length in the moving direction, and a voltage is generated in the detection coil due to a difference in magnetic field intensity between a portion corresponding to the detection object portion and a portion not corresponding to the detection object portion.

  • Publication number: 20070119257
Abstract: A vibration detection system comprises a battery-less vibration sensor and an interrogator. The sensor comprises a single port surface acoustic wave resonator. The interrogator continuously transmits a carrier wave signal to the resonator while receiving a wave signal reflected from the resonator. The reflected wave signal includes components other than the transmitted carrier wave signal if the sensor senses a vibration event. Based the reflected wave signal, the interrogator judges whether the vibration event occurs.

  • Patent number: 5583409
Abstract: A numerical control apparatus allows a portion of a prototype or the like to be easily machined without an operator being concerned with a coordinate system, origins, and other data. A guidance function executing unit displays guidance information on a display unit. According to the displayed guidance information, the operator enters machining commands using a keyboard, etc. A pulse distributing unit sends present positions from present position registers to the guidance function executing unit. The guidance function executing unit calculates a movement command from command values commanded by the operator and the present positions, and sends the calculated movement command to the pulse distributing unit, which outputs distributed pulses to drive the machine tool.
