  • Publication number: 20070183744
Abstract: To provide a mobile terminal having a broadcast receiving function, wherein even when reception of an incoming call or start of a call interrupts playback of a broadcast being received, all remaining contents of the broadcast including an interrupted part can be played back after the call has ended. Upon receiving notification of call start from a broadcast control unit 112, a recording/playback unit 113 interrupts outputting a TV broadcast being received to a speaker 105 and a display 106, and records audio data and video data in units of frames of the broadcast in a storage unit 114. Upon receiving notification of call end from the broadcast control unit 112, the recording/playback unit 113 continues recording the data in the storage unit 114, reads the data recorded in the storage unit 114 from an interrupted part thereof, and outputs these data to the speaker 105 and the display 106.

  • Publication number: 20070007711
Abstract: An original stacking plate for supporting and stacking an original is rotatably attached to an ASF base. A fulcrum position of the original stacking plate is provided with a rotational center on the upstream side in the sheet feeding direction from a fulcrum position of a pressing plate while keeping a predetermined distance from a base surface of the ASF base. Therefore, a rotational angle of the original stacking plate in association with the vertical motion of the pressing plate when the original and recording paper have been set is smaller than that of the pressing plate.

  • Patent number: 7151622
Abstract: An image reading and recording apparatus is provided with a carriage having the drive switching gear, which transmits driving power to a reading drive gear train only in a drive switching position. Then, when a reading command is issued, the carriage moves to this drive switching position. For this operation, a driving motor that serves as one driving source is arranged to transmit the driving power thereof to the recording drive gear train and the reading drive gear train. Also, there is no need for an original and a recording sheet to pass different passages of transportation by shearing a common passage of transportation for use by both of them, hence making it possible to materialize downsizing the apparatus, and reducing the cost of manufacture as well.
