  • Patent number: 8087390
Abstract: A multi-link variable compression ratio engine is provided with a crankshaft, a piston, a control shaft, a linkage, a motor and a reduction mechanism. The crankshaft moves the piston within an engine cylinder. The control shaft has an eccentric axle eccentric relative to its center-axis. The linkage operatively connects the piston to the crankshaft and the crankshaft to the eccentric axle of the control shaft. The motor rotates the control shaft so a top-dead-center position of the piston changes to vary compression ratios by changing the positions of the eccentric axle and the linkage. The reduction mechanism couples the motor to the control shaft to transmit a reduced rotation of the motor to the control shaft so a reduction ratio of a rotation angle of the motor to a rotation angle of the control shaft is less at high-compression ratios than at intermediate compression ratios.

  • Publication number: 20110311280
Abstract: A toner cartridge includes a toner receptacle that houses toner, a plurality of stirring members housed in the toner receptacle, a plurality of gears meshing with each other on outside of the toner receptacle, and a phase display section. The stirring members are arranged next to each other in the toner receptacle and rotate to stir the toner. Each of the stirring members has a scraper that scrapes off the toner adhering to an inner surface of the toner receptacle. The gears rotate to rotate the stirring members in an interlocked manner with each other. The phase display section shows a meshing position of the gears so that the gears mesh with each other at a position where a phase difference along a rotating direction of the stirring members occurs between the scrapers of the stirring members that are next to each other.

  • Patent number: 8010958
Abstract: The object is to provide a data processing apparatus, a program managing apparatus, a program managing system, etc., capable of securely and efficiently updating and managing a control program in the data processing apparatus. The data processing apparatus analyzes received data and when program updating data sent from a superior rank apparatus is acquired, temporarily stores program data for updating out of such data in a storage device. Upon occurrence of an event of a program updating request, the data processing apparatus executes updating processing based on the updating program data stored in the storage device and, after completion of the program updating, gives a notice of updating completion to the superior rank apparatus and again waits for the event. Timing of the program updating request is set later than that of the program updating data being sent from the superior rank apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7989256
Abstract: In order to manufacture a CIS-based thin film solar cell that can achieve high photoelectric conversion efficiency by adding an alkali element to a light absorbing layer easily and with good controllability, a backside electrode layer (2) is formed on a substrate (1). Then, a p-type CIS-based light absorbing layer (3) is formed on backside electrode layer (2), and then an n-type transparent and electroconductive film (5) is formed on this p-type CIS-based light absorbing layer (3). At this time, the backside electrode layer (2) is constituted by forming a first electrode layer (21) using a backside electrode material in which an alkali metal is mixed and, then forming a second electrode layer (22) using the backside electrode material that does not substantially contain the alkali metal.
