  • Patent number: 9743718
Abstract: [Object] To effectively reduce a noise generated during engaging operation of a tongue. [Solution] A slider 13 held in a non-locking position, at which the slider 13 does not lock a latch 9, turns together with the latch 9 and moves so as to enter a space between the latch 9 and the locking pin 10 during operation of the latch 9. A front end 13a of the slider 13 comes in contact with a front end 25a4 of a damper 24 before coming in contact with a stop 11f of an operation button 11, and the slider 13 moves while compressing a damper spring 26. As a result, the movement of the slider 13 is slowed down. When the front end 13a is in contact with the stop 11f, the slider 13 is positioned in a locking position, at which the slider 13 locks the latch 9 positioned in the latching position. The slider 13 that has been slowed down comes in contact with the stop 11f, reducing the noise generated when the tongue engages with the buckle 7.

  • Patent number: 8876161
Abstract: A seat belt buckle for receiving a tongue connected to a seat belt webbing. The buckle includes a first ejector spring in a position out of an area ? of the path of movement of an engagement portion of the tongue and an imaginary extended area ? extended from the area ? in the direction of movement of the engagement portion, and on the outer side of a base. A second ejector spring is provided in a position out of at least one of the area ? and the imaginary extended area ?, and on the outer side of the base 8. A bracket for fixing the buckle to the vehicle body can be provided closer to a tongue insertion hole, thereby reducing the length of the buckle in the tongue insertion direction.

  • Patent number: 8746743
Abstract: A seat belt locking buckle configured to allow a seat belt locking tongue to be stably and firmly latched and reduce the thickness of a seat belt locking buckle. When a tongue latch member is inserted into a seat belt locking buckle, an ejector is moved. Thus, a buckle latch member 13 becomes rotatable. Consequently, a slider moves along a plane that is parallel or substantially parallel to a plane of the motion of the tongue latch member and pushes a first latch guide portion of the buckle latch member. Thus, the buckle latch member is rotated from a non-latch position to a latch position. In this manner, the tongue latch member is latched by the buckle latch member.

  • Patent number: 8720949
Abstract: Recess portions (15) and (16) are disposed in a seat-belt sliding face (14) of a seat-belt sliding member (13), and a predetermined number of projections (17) are provided independently of each other in a dotted state in the recess portions (15) and (16). In each of the projections (17), sliding resistance between a seat belt (4) and the seat-belt sliding member (13) in a normal time is small, and the sliding resistance between the seat belt (4) and the seat-belt sliding member (13) when the seat belt (4) slides to the lap belt (4c) side is larger than the sliding resistance between the seat belt (4) and the seat-belt sliding member (13) when the seat belt (4) slides to the shoulder belt (4b) side. By means of the dotted-state projections (17), extension of the lap belt (4c) in an emergency is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 8015851
Abstract: When forming a dowel section by performing press working on each of portions constituting side walls of a buckle base member, a die having a negative clearance with a punch portion (2) is used whose length or diameter is larger than a length or diameter of a die portion (3). The dowel section is required as a guide for a tongue inserted into a buckle and as a load receiver when a latch member is elongated at a time of collision etc. When a ratio C/t of a clearance C between the punch portion and the die portion with respect to a plate thickness t of the buckle base member is set within a range of ?(30 to 5) %, no crack is generated in the root of the dowel section, and the dowel section of a shear cross-section length ?0.25×t, a shear cross-section starting height ?0.7×t, and a height of (0.70 to 0.95)×t is easily obtained, and the perpenducularity of the dowel section side surface is enhanced.

  • Patent number: 7692384
Abstract: An envelope has a glass bulb body and a cylindrical glass bulb base. The glass bulb body includes an upper hemisphere and a lower hemisphere. The upper hemisphere is curved in a substantially spherical shape. The lower hemisphere is substantially curved in a spherical shape and connects the upper hemisphere and glass bulb base. A photocathode is formed on the inner surface of the glass bulb body. An avalanche photodiode is disposed on the glass bulb body side relative to an intersection between an imaginary extended curved surface of the lower hemisphere within the glass bulb base and an axis. When light enters the photocathode, electrons are emitted from the photocathode. The electrons are converged at the position above and in the vicinity of the APD by an electrical field in the electron tube, so that the electrons enter the APD in an efficient manner and are detected satisfactorily.

  • Patent number: 7525249
Abstract: In an electron tube, an insulating tube protrudes inside an envelope. One end of the insulating tube is connected to the envelope. An avalanche photo diode (APD) is provided on the other end of the insulating tube. A ground voltage is applied to the envelope and a positive high voltage is applied to the APD. Photoelectrons which are emitted in response to an incident light on a photocathode are converged by an electrical field in the envelope and enter the APD. Thereafter, the incident photoelectrons are amplified and detected. Since a positive high voltage is not exposed to the envelope, the electron tube can easily be handled and is excellent in safety.
