  • Publication number: 20080289986
Abstract: An overwrap packed body is obtained by heating and shrinking a wrapping material in a condition that five drink products collectively wrapped by the wrapping material. Three perforated lines passing through gap portions between the adjacent drink products are formed on the wrapping material at an interval of 2 mm in parallel. When the three perforated line portions are pushed with fingers in the gap portion between the adjacent drink products, the wrapping material torn from the pushed portion in a vertical direction. Thus, the packed drink products DG can be easily taken out one by one.

  • Publication number: 20080218533
Abstract: In the terminal apparatus, a CPU 100 reads out a simultaneous/switch display condition that is currently employed from display control table information stored in a simultaneous/switch display condition memory section 102c, and identifies whether a screen display instruction operation instructs a switch display or a simultaneous display in accordance with the simultaneous/switch display condition that has been read out and the circumstance when the screen display instruction operation is performed. When the screen display instruction operation is identified as instructing the simultaneous display, the CPU 100 reads out the display layout condition that is currently employed from display layout table information stored in a display layout condition memory section 102d, and controls a display layout for the simultaneous display in accordance with the display layout condition that has been read out and the circumstance when the screen display instruction operation is performed.

  • Patent number: 7328002
Abstract: Wireless electronic payment of a cellular phone to a commercial company for commodities and/or services, received from the company, through the company's register and a non-contact IC of the cellular phone is protected from being hindered by an incoming call or mail received by the cellular phone. To this end, an RF block of the cellular phone detects the incoming call or mail received externally over a communication line. The non-contact IC pays wirelessly and electronically for the commodities and/or services received from the company. If a CPU of the cellular phone is responsive to the RF block detecting the incoming call or mail when the non-contact IC is not performing the paying process for going to a telephone-call establishment process based on an off-hook operation in response to the incoming call.

  • Publication number: 20080001703
Abstract: Provided is a portable telephone apparatus which can change the arrangement (style) of its display portion and operation portion, and which makes it easy to input authentication information for making itself usable. A storage unit stores style lock association information that associates styles with authentication methods for making the portable telephone apparatus usable in these styles. A control unit determines whether or not terminal locking is imposed when the power is turned on. If the terminal locking is imposed, the control unit refers to the style lock association information and selects an authentication method associated with the current style detected by a style detection sensor. In a case where user authentication by the selected authentication method is successful, the control unit cancels the terminal locking and makes the portable telephone apparatus usable.

  • Publication number: 20070280515
Abstract: Changing of setting of a predetermined function or file that is selected is controlled only by performing fingerprint authentication while data regarding the predetermined function or file is displayed on a display unit. While data regarding a function arbitrarily selected by an input unit from a plurality of functions is displayed on the display unit, a control unit authenticates a user based on fingerprint information representing a fingerprint pattern read by a fingerprint sensor and registered fingerprint information pre-stored in a fingerprint information area. If the authentication is successful, the control unit changes a “user restriction flag” associated with the function selected by the input unit in protection setting information stored in a user restriction flag storage area to an effective state or an ineffective state.

  • Patent number: 7298878
Abstract: An image diagnosis supporting device operates, through digitizing, to apply predetermined image processing to a medical image and to generate a multi-valued image having discrete multiple values. At least one decision making processing routine is then executed on the multi-valued image and/or the medical image; and, from among shadows in the processed image, a focus candidate shadow which is likely to indicate a diseased site is extracted. The extracted focus candidate shadow is then displayed in the medical image so that it is easily identifiable.

  • Publication number: 20070032262
Abstract: Upon detection to connection to a cradle, a control section of a mobile communication terminal accesses a storage section to determine whether setting information indicating operation settings of various functions is stored therein. When setting information is stored therein, the control section turns on power of the mobile communication terminal and controls the respective sections to execute an operation according to the setting information. While, no setting information is stored therein, the control section performs a charging operation without turning on power of the mobile communication terminal. Then, upon detection of release of connection to the cradle, the executed operation is finished based on the setting information.

  • Patent number: 7019745
Abstract: A three-dimensional image display apparatus emphasizes display of a particular portion using the volume rendering method, where a volume image constructed by aligning a plurality of tomograms is shaded and projected on a predetermined projection plane to produce a 3D image. A volume rendering method is used where, in an algorithm for shading, virtual light beams are radiated from a virtual light source set outside the volume image, and pixel values on the projection plane are calculated based on reflectivity and density gradient of light beams at the respective pixels on the projection plane. At a luminescence ratio allocating area, a luminescence ratio is allocated for amplifying light beams entering pixels representing a particular object to be emphasized. The thus-allocated luminescence ratio is added as a parameter of the shading calculation in the volume rendering method and is used for calculation of pixel values on the projection plane.

  • Publication number: 20060058079
Abstract: In the event that a cellular telephone is placed in a charging stand in an incoming wait status or if a predetermined time that the device has been left unattended elapses, a slide show display is executed which sequentially switches and displays a plurality of images in the main display portion but only when in the arrangement position of namely, view style, in a folded position with the main display portion facing outward. Additionally, when executing a slide show display, the slide direction is switched as the image size adjusts corresponding to the direction (portrait display position, landscape display position) of the main display portion.

  • Patent number: 6990231
Abstract: The virtual three-dimensional image of an observed object is formed by arranging a plurality of sectional images and projected from a viewpoint fixed to a predetermined position onto a projection plane which is fixed to a predetermined position to form and display a perspective image. The pixel value on the sectional image which is transversed by a projection line extending from the viewpoint to the projection plane are read and, if the read value coincides with one of a plurality of predetermined values, pixel data are recorded in a pixel recording region corresponding to that value in pixel value memories. While the projection line scans the pixels one by one on the projection plane, for each coming scanned pixel the pixel data are recorded. After all the data are recorded, the pixel data recorded in the pixel value memories are read out and the data are displayed on a display as a perspective image.
