  • Patent number: 11971510
Abstract: A gel dosimeter for radiation dosimetry includes a radically polymerizable monomer, a gelator, glucose, and glucose oxidase. Although a conventional polymer gel dosimeter contains a deoxygenating agent such as tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium chloride, such a deoxygenating agent fails to exhibit sufficient effects. Thus, a more effective deoxygenation treatment technique has been required for a gel dosimeter.

  • Patent number: 8582921
Abstract: When an image including a composite figure made of a predefined figure and a free-form figure is scanned, the position and shape of the free-form figure and the predefined figure are appropriately adjusted. The composite figure is separated into a predefined figure and a free-form figure. With respect to the separated predefined figure, a representative point is set at a predetermined position according to the type of the predefined figure and a representative point is set for the free-form figure based on a criterion according to a type of the free-form figure. If the representative point of a predefined figure is in the vicinity of the representative point of the free-form figure, the free-form figure is corrected based on the position of the representative point of the free-form figure and the position of the representative point of the predefined figure.

  • Patent number: 8320668
Abstract: Noise does not occur even if an image of an object region extracted from an input image and a background image are stored separately, and then displayed or printed, at a boundary portion of the object region. A boundary region is set at the inner side of the object region of the input image, and a pixel value of an adjacent pixel at the outer side of the boundary of the object region is written to a corresponding pixel in the boundary region. Even if a difference occurs between the background image and the object image, when a document file is displayed or printed, since the pixel value of the pixel at the outer side of the object region is assigned to the pixel in the boundary region, noise due to average color does not occur.

  • Patent number: 8041122
Abstract: An image processing apparatus can generate a vector sequence representing each color region of a color image. The image processing apparatus divides the image into plural regions based on attribute information of the image, and extracts region boundary information relating to a boundary line between different regions. The image processing apparatus generates inter-edge point vector data for each boundary connecting a first edge point to a second edge point corresponding to intersections of boundaries between neighboring regions, based on the extracted region boundary information. The image processing apparatus identifies one or more inter-edge point vector data representing a boundary of each divided region based on the generated inter-edge point vector data, and generates individual region vector data.
