  • Publication number: 20120292894
Abstract: Both ends of a sack-like body are fixed to fastening sections provided in a pillar-like frame in the rearmost part of a vehicle, and the sack-like body is housed along an air bag housing space in a portion of a roof. The sack-like body is composed of a fabric-made article that shrinks longitudinally when extended widthwise. At the time of a rear-end collision, the air bag is inflated by gas supplied from an inflator, and turns into an inflated body, starting from a housed state in the air bag housing space, in such a way that both ends of the air bag are supported by the fastening sections, the inflated shape of the inflated body being restricted by the sack-like body. This inflated body constrains the head sections of vehicle cabin occupants who move rearward due to the rear-end collision.

  • Publication number: 20120074677
Abstract: Provided are an airbag, an airbag device, and a method for sewing a lid member of an airbag that can make it easier to maintain the internal pressure until inflation and deployment of the airbag are completed and to quickly release gas after an occupant contacts the airbag. An airbag includes a vent hole for releasing gas supplied in the airbag, a lid member for making the vent hole openable and closable, and a tether for applying tension to the lid member. A seam formed by sewing the lid member to the airbag is disposed in a sewing region defined by a straight line shape spaced a predetermined distance from the vent hole, and a curved shape (most curved shape) formed by bringing both ends of the straight line shape close to a center line of the vent hole parallel to the straight line shape. The curvature of the seam can be regulated in view of the lap width between the lid member and the outer edge of the vent hole.

  • Publication number: 20110218753
Abstract: A sensor information acquisition section acquires angular velocity information (GX, GY, GZ) around three axes acquired by three angular velocity sensors, and acceleration information (AX, AY, AZ) in three axial directions acquired by three acceleration sensors. A posture information calculation section calculates a posture angle and position coordinates in a virtual three-dimensional space based on the angular velocity information (GX, GY, GZ) and the acceleration information (AX, AY, AZ). The posture information calculation section calculates a fixed coordinate system velocity vector based on an inertial coordinate system acceleration vector (A) obtained from the acceleration information (AX, AY, AZ), and calculates position coordinates in a virtual three-dimensional space corresponding to the fixed coordinate system velocity vector.

  • Publication number: 20110211029
Abstract: A liquid storage unit for collecting a liquid supplied to an ejecting head is provided. The liquid is supplied to a plurality of ejecting heads via a pressure regulating valve, and the liquid is suctioned from the plurality of ejecting heads by a circulation pump, and then is discharged to the liquid storage unit. In this way, since the liquid is suctioned from each of the ejecting heads, the passage resistance is decreased, so that the ink can be appropriately circulated. In addition, since the ejecting head is supplied with the liquid at an appropriate pressure from the liquid storage unit via the pressure adjusting valve, the liquid can be appropriately ejected.

A posture detection device (1) is secured on a side (211) of a cubic jig (210) so that an X-axis (first axis) perpendicularly intersects a side (212) (second side), a Y-axis (second axis) perpendicularly intersects a side (213) (third side), and a Z-axis (third axis) perpendicularly intersects the side (211) (first side) (S12). The side of the cubic jig opposite to the side (212), (213), or (211) is sequentially secured on the upper side of the turntable (S14, S20, and S26). Detection values of the posture detection device are acquired in a state in which the turntable is stationary or rotated at a predetermined angular velocity (S16, S18, S22, S24, S28, and S30), and correction parameters are created (S32).
