  • Publication number: 20180269002
Abstract: A film capacitor includes a body including a core body formed of an insulating material and metalized films which are wound around the core body; and first and second terminal electrodes disposed on both end surfaces in an axial direction of the body, respectively, a cross section perpendicular to an axial direction, i.e., z direction, of the core body having an oval outer periphery having a major axis and a minor axis, and an inner periphery defining a slit extending along the major axis. The provision of the core body makes it possible to suppress loosening of the metalized films or occurrence of a gap between the metalized films, thus making the film capacitor having a high insulation property.

Abstract: An input device according to a mode of an embodiment includes a detection unit, at least one vibration element, and a vibration control unit. The detection unit detects a contact position of a user on an operation surface. The vibration element vibrates the operation surface. The vibration control unit controls the vibration element in such a manner that a vibration state of the vibration element becomes a first vibration state when the contact position detected by the detection unit is in a predetermined region and that a vibration state of the vibration element becomes a second vibration state different from the first vibration state when the contact position is outside the predetermined region.

  • Patent number: 9060013
Abstract: A history management unit within a discard determination unit manages transmission and reception packets related to a resource to be protected for each of users, and records communication history information for users high in use frequency through stateful measurement. A priority determination unit determines the priority of a communication on a per received packet basis on the basis of communication history information. A load determination unit determines a load level of the resource to be protected, and combines the load level with the priority of the communication determined on the per received packet basis. A discard rate determination unit and a packet discard unit implement forwarding processing, determine the priority of the communication on the per user basis, and discard communications low in the priority at a high ratio.

  • Patent number: 8953591
Abstract: In a conventional “distributed” integrated network node architecture, specific judgment processes cannot be executed in any routing and transferring unit. The routing and transferring unit is required to share judgment process related information with an enhanced processing unit or other routing and transferring units. Thus, when using enhanced processing units, manufacturing costs increase, while processing speed decreases when routing and transferring units cooperate. If any flow is disposed during a transfer from a packet transferring unit in a routing and transferring unit to a processing unit, the packet is disposed regardless of packet priority. In the present invention, a packet related to a specific judgment process is always transmitted to a specific routing and transferring unit from a line interface unit. If an inputted flow is over the transferring capacity, the line interface unit analyzes the packet header and determines the type, transport priority, and disposal priority of the packet.

  • Patent number: 8527834
Abstract: An information processing device implements error control including at least one of error detection and error correction. The device comprises an information bit sequence acquiring unit and an encoder. The information bit sequence acquiring unit acquires an information bit sequence. The encoder generates a redundant bit sequence enabling execution of error control of the entire information bit sequence, the redundant bit sequence being generated through encoding by a predetermined code based on the information bit sequence and generates a codeword that includes the information bit sequence and the redundant bit sequence. The encoder generates the redundant bit sequence in such a way that one or more bits contained in the redundant bit sequence each functions as a parity bit for one of a plurality of divided information bit sequences produced by dividing the information bit sequence.

  • Patent number: 8259714
Abstract: In the case of a “distributed” integrated network node (architecture), a specific judgment process cannot be executed in any routing and transferring unit. The routing and transferring unit has been required to share such judgment process related information with an enhanced processing unit or with other routing and transferring units. Thus the manufacturing cost has increased when using an enhanced processing unit and the processing speed has been lowered unavoidably when cooperation is required among routing and transferring units. Those have been conventional problems. Furthermore, if any flow is disposed during a transfer from a packet transferring unit provided in a routing and transferring unit to a processing unit, the packet is disposed regardless of the packet priority. This has also been another conventional problem.
