  • Publication number: 20090097379
Abstract: In a hologram device, a reflecting mirror is provided on a light path of reproduction light, the reproduction light is oriented in a direction parallel to an optical recording medium, and, then, a light-receiving member receives the light. Since the light-receiving member need not be provided in a thickness direction, even if a light path length is increased, the hologram device can be made thin. In addition, by using the reflecting mirror having a very small area, it is possible to restrict crosstalk even without a pinhole. Further, a light-receiving device is accommodated in a housing, and the reproduction light is incident upon the interior of the housing through a transparent cover, so that it is possible to prevent entry of dust.

  • Publication number: 20090091194
Abstract: When currents are applied to driving coils, electromagnetic forces are generated between the currents and magnetic fluxes passing through gaps, a shaft member is swung in one direction, and a tilt angle of a mirror (controlled object) changes relative to a support center point. Electromotive forces generated in detection coils when the magnetic fluxes pass through the detection coils are given as feedback signals to a control unit. The control unit generates currents on the basis of the feedback signals, and applies the currents to the driving coils. By detecting the velocity of the mirror during swinging with the detection coils, the structure of the actuator can be simplified. Further, the responsivity can be increased, and the tilt angle of the mirror can be detected with high accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20090079275
Abstract: An actuator in which, when a supporting shaft, where a mirror (control object) is provided, is tilted by receiving an electromagnetic force of a magnetic driving mechanism, small balls of a supporting mechanism move in an axial direction in a space provided between an outer base and an inner ring member. Therefore, the supporting shaft and the inner ring member holding the supporting shaft swing. At this time, since the inner ring member swings around a rotational fulcrum as center, the supporting shaft can swing around one rotational fulcrum as center at all times. A plurality of laid members serving as a rotation restricting member prevent rotation of the supporting shaft in a direction around the axis.

  • Publication number: 20090059760
Abstract: [Object] To provide a recording medium that is strong in deformation, easy to handle, excellent in portability, and inexpensive, and a recording-medium driving device thereof. [Solving Means] When an end of a recording medium 10A inserted in an insertion hole 22 of the mounting portion 20, is screwed, a recording surface of the recording medium 10A (an outer peripheral surface of an outer cylindrical member 11) opposing a pickup 30A is moved in a peripheral direction. Therefore, data recorded on the recording medium 10A can be read out by the pickup 30A. The pickup 30 is only secured to a position opposing the recording surface of the recording medium 10, so that means for moving the pickup is not required. Therefore, an inexpensive recording-medium driving device having a simple structure can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20080137162
Abstract: A hologram information reproducing device is described which can reproduce information from a recording medium on which hologram information is recorded, and which can be downsized. In one aspect, when light from a light source is emitted, the light is converted into parallel reference light, by a lens of an optical system. A mirror changes the orientation of the reference light so that it is oriented obliquely downward towards a recording medium. More specifically, as viewed from the top, the mirror changes a path of the light from the light source unit by approximately 90 degrees. In addition, as viewed from the side, the mirror changes the path of the light from the light source unit downward by approximately 45 degrees. Since an interference pattern recorded on the recording medium is a Bragg grating, when the reference light illuminates a recording area of the recording medium, a reproduction light is obtained by Bragg diffraction.
