Abstract: An apparatus for drawing out a leader block in a tape cartridge for a magnetic instrument comprising engagement means movably provided in leader block guide means for guiding and driving the leader block along a predetermined guide path so that the leader block is associated with the leader block guide means in accordance with the tape cartridge entering the magnetic instrument and so that the leader block is released out of the leader block guide means in accordance with the tape cartridge being removed out of the magnetic instrument.

Abstract: A device for application of lubricant liquid to a yarn on double twister comprising a rigid porous wetting member disposed in a part of the yarn passage through which the yarn drawn from a feeding package passes and adapted to be in contact with the drawn yarn, a tank for reserving lubricant liquid to be applied to the yarn, and a plurality of wicks immersed into lubricant liquid in the tank at one end and brought into contact with the wetting member at the other end.

Abstract: A novel compound of the formula, ##STR1## wherein k is zero or an integer of 1 to 2, j is an integer of from 1 or 3, l and m are each zero or an integer of from 1 to 3, and n is an integer of from 1 to 4, the rings A, B and C being optionally substituted with at least one trifluoromethyl group or tetrafluoroethyl group is prepared by reacting the perhydro compound corresponding thereto with fluorine. Abstract: A tension device for use in a two-for-one twister, in which the yarn insertion is made by means of compressed air, comprises a tubular tenser body provided with a yarn passage, a tenser disposed in the tenser body and adapted to close the yarn passage at a predetermined pressure to impart a tension to the yarn, and a tenser operating member provided on a portion of the tenser body and adapted to slide within a plane perpendicular to the yarn passage.

Abstract: A perfluoroether compound having the following formula is useful as a thermostable, inert solvent and inter alia as an oxygen carrier in an artificial blood or infusion fluid. ##STR1## wherein Rf.sub.1 and Rf.sub.2 are different from each other and are selected from the group of a C.sub.1 or C.sub.3 perfluoroalkyl group which may be interrupted by an oxygen atom, and a C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 perfluorocycloalkyl group, and n and n' are zero or an integer of 1; one of Rf.sub.1 and Rf.sub.2 being the C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 perfluorocycloalkyl group and the total number of carbon atoms being 9-11 inclusive.

Abstract: A double twisting frame for a flange bobbin, in which a yarn unwound from a yarn supply bobbin is guided to a central hole of the bobbin, passed through a tension device and a yarn guide hole wound on the periphery of a rotary board, then travelled upward, and then twisted while being ballooned. A flyer is rotatably mounted on the upper side of the yarn supply bobbin and the flyer has a yarn guide portion located outwardly of the peripheral surface of the upper flange of a flange bobbin.
