  • Patent number: 4806080
Abstract: A pump including an impeller having a magnet or a second conductor therein, the impeller being adapted to be directly rotated by virtue of magnetic fields of stator coils. The impeller is rotated within a casing in close proximity thereto via ceramic bearing members, one bearing member having spiral grooves on its slide surface. The ceramic bearing members constitute a dynamic pressure bearing means.

  • Patent number: 4698569
Abstract: An apparatus for locating a carrier, such as a lens carrier in a process camera unit, exactly at a desired position, the apparatus collecting data of the inertia acting upon the driving system including a motor and a shifting means, and obtaining a mean value from the collected measured values so as to correct the data of inertia in the driving system with the mean value. From the corrected data of inertia an information about the control of the driving system is derived, and applied to locate the carrier at a desired position.

  • Patent number: 4417810
Abstract: A method for obtaining a composite color picture out of a plurality of original pictures and a camera employing the method are disclosed, wherein a plurality of original color picture are selectively exposed on a sheet of film one by one in a sequential manner with appropriate color compensation, magnification or reduction in size, and proper masking conducted upon each exposure. Both photographic film on which to duplicate composite picture and the original pictures are displaced across and on the optical center line of a camera in such a manner that, on the composite photographic picture thus obtained, the original pictures are laid out according to a plan.
