Abstract: A heat-developable photosensitive material is described comprising a heat-developable photosensitive layer containing at least an organic silver salt, a photocatalyst, and a reducing agent, wherein the improvement is an antihalation layer comprising a light bleachable colored composition composed of at least (1) a photosensitive halogen-containing compound, and (2) a merocyanine dye, provided on the opposite side of said heat-developable photosensitive layer with respect to the side intended for imagewise exposure.

Abstract: A light-sensitive composition particularly suitable for making light-sensitive lithographic printing plates is described composed of a mixture of a sensitizer and a photo-crosslinkable polymer, or a mixture of a sensitizer, a compound including a light-sensitive azido group and a polymer reactive with a decomposate of azido groups to be formed upon exposure to light, and a sensitizer represented by the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein A represents a non-metallic atomic group necessary for forming a heterocyclic ring containing nitrogen; R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group or a substituted alkyl group; R.sub.2 represents hydrogen, an alkyl group, a substituted alkyl group, an aryl group, or a substituted aryl group; and Y and Z each represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom.

Abstract: A stabilized photosensitive composition comprising a leuco dye, a photooxidizing agent, and further a 2,4-dihydroxybenzaldoxime which is suitable for use in lithography, photoresists, etc., for obtaining visible contrast between the exposed and unexposed areas.

Abstract: A light-sensitive resin composition containing (a) at least one ethylenically unsaturated compound having at least two terminal ethylenically unsaturated groups, which is capable of forming a polymer through photo-addition polymerization, and which has a boiling point of about 100.degree. C. or higher at atmospheric pressure, (b) an addition polymerization initiator activatable by irradiation with actinic radiation, and (c) an organic high polymer binder having water-solubilizing groups in the side chains thereof, wherein the improvement comprises the binder being a copolymer containing (A) a repeating unit derived from at least one compound selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid and (B) a repeating unit derived from at least one compound selected from the group consisting of benzyl acrylate, benzyl methacrylate, phenethyl acrylate, phenethyl methacrylate, 3-phenylpropyl acrylate, 3-phenylpropyl methacrylate, 4-phenylbutyl acrylate and 4-phenylbutyl methacrylate.
