  • Patent number: 10257970
Abstract: A feeder and a feeder control method, as well as an electronic component device, reliably engaging a supply tape in a loading operation even if there is an accumulated pitch error between sprocket holes. Third, second and first sprockets are arranged successively from an insertion port. The sprocket hole on a forward end portion of the inserted supply tape is fitted with a third tooth of the third sprocket in the loading operation. The supply tape is rotated by rotation of the third sprocket until fitting with a second tooth of the second sprocket, and the rotation of the third sprocket is stopped after the second tooth fits with the sprocket hole on the forward end portion.

  • Patent number: 9968019
Abstract: A component feeding device transports a tape (a component feeding tape) in which electronic components are stored with some transportation device, and exposes the components. Transportation of the component feeding tape may be performed by fitting a sprocket with a feed hole of the component feeding tape. It has been found that sprocket does not necessarily fit with the feed hole of the component feeding tape. It has been found that this phenomenon takes place in a case of driving at least two or more sprockets with a driving device. When the sprocket does not fit with the feed hole, transportation of the tape is not correctly performed, but exerts an undesirable influence such as reduction of mounting efficiency on feeding of the components and subsequent mounting of the components. One feature resides in rendering a backlash of an upstream-side sprocket larger than a backlash of a downstream-side sprocket.

  • Patent number: 9756770
Abstract: A control unit determines whether or not confirmation of a type of a tape processing unit is necessary, and performs identification processing of the type of the tape processing unit when confirmation of the type of the tape processing unit is determined as necessary. Then, this identification processing of the type is performed and the control unit determines whether or not an electronic component handleable by this tape processing unit coincides with an electronic component of a component arrangement number in a feeder base, to perform control for performing an extraction operation for an electronic component in a storage tape with an adsorption nozzle when the electronic component is determined as coinciding.

  • Patent number: 7784857
Abstract: A retaining structure and fastener assembly for securing a resin panel to a vehicle body. The panel has an inner surface and a retaining structure extending outwardly from the inner surface. The retaining structure has a retaining wall with a slot for receiving a shoulder of a bolt therethrough, so that a head of the bolt is retained between the inner surface and a washer for securing the panel to the body of the vehicle. The slot is oversized relative to the shoulder of the bolt so as to define a predetermined gap therebetween to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction of the panel, thereby preventing building of the panel relative to the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7533459
Abstract: The invention is directed to increased stabilization of a pickup operation by reducing a reaction against disturbance by reducing a feedback value when a pickup rate is improved. A positional shifting amount of an electronic component on a suction nozzle before the electronic component is mounted on a printed board is stored in a RAM each time the component is picked up at a component feeding unit until a pickup count number reaches a predetermined pickup number, and a CPU calculates an average of the positional shifting amounts. When the pickup count number reaches the predetermined pickup number, the CPU obtains a temporary coefficient by adding an initial value to a value obtained by multiplying a negative coefficient by the pickup count number, and calculates a feedback value by multiplying the temporary coefficient by the average.

  • Publication number: 20050172770
Abstract: This invention is directed to the prevention of the deterioration of the accuracy in component mounting by suppressing the temperature rise of the moving member as much as possible by cooling the moving member, which is the heat source of a linear motor. The moving member 48 of the linear motor 14 is configured in the following manner for achieving the objective of this invention. That is, the heat dissipation portion, the axis 17 made of the material with efficient thermal conduction such as aluminum, pierces through the iron core 18 around which coils 20 are wound. The moving member except a part of the axis 17 is molded with synthetic resin, and at one end of the axis 17, the heat dissipation fin 19 which makes heat dissipation area larger is formed. And this heat dissipation fin 19 is placed to face the air exhaust port 67.

  • Publication number: 20050166392
Abstract: The invention is directed to correcting of a lower end level of a suction nozzle during manufacturing running based on the lower end level of the suction nozzle measured after a mounting operation. An electronic component mounting apparatus for picking electronic components up from component feeding units by suction nozzles and mounting the electronic component on a printed board is provided with a line sensor unit for measuring a lower end level of the suction nozzle after a component mounting operation on a printed board. A CPU calculates a descending amount of the suction nozzle at a pickup station and a mounting station based on a value measured by the line sensor unit, and rotates a stroke motor to move a moving body to a position where the suction nozzle can descend by the amount. Therefore, the electronic component can be picked up and mounted on the printed board properly even if the suction nozzle is worn with time.

  • Patent number: 6393336
Abstract: There are provided a nozzle clogging detection device for an electronic component-mounting apparatus, which has a simple construction and is capable of accurately detecting clogging of a vacuum nozzle and erroneous mounting of a vacuum nozzle different in diameter, and a nozzle clogging detection method therefor. A flow meter is arranged across a vacuum passage communicating between a vacuum pump and the nozzle hole of the vacuum nozzle, for measuring an actual flow rate of air drawn in through the nozzle hole. Clogging of the nozzle hole and erroneous mounting of the vacuum nozzle is detected by comparing the actual flow rate measured by the flow meter with a design flow rate of air to be drawn through the nozzle hole, the design flow rate of air being stored in advance.
