  • Publication number: 20020041481
Abstract: This invention is directed to the prevention of the deterioration of the accuracy in component mounting by suppressing the temperature rise of the moving member as much as possible by cooling the moving member, which is the heat source of a linear motor. The moving member 48 of the linear motor 14 is configured in the following manner for achieving the objective of this invention. That is, the heat dissipation portion, the axis 17 made of the material with efficient thermal conduction such as aluminum, pierces through the iron core 18 around which coils 20 are wound. The moving member except a part of the axis 17 is molded with synthetic resin, and at one end of the axis 17, the heat dissipation fin 19 which makes heat dissipation area larger is formed. And this heat dissipation fin 19 is placed to face the air exhaust port 67.

  • Patent number: 6101707
Abstract: There is provided a mounting head for an electronic component-mounting apparatus. A nozzle holder has a plurality of suction nozzles arranged circumferentially about a vertical axis thereof in a manner such that each suction nozzle is capable of projecting from the nozzle holder and retracting in the nozzle holder. A holder support member supports the nozzle holder in a manner such that the nozzle holder can rotate about the vertical axis thereof. Rotation drive means drives the nozzle holder for rotation in normal and reverse directions. The nozzle holder is driven for rotation by the rotation drive means to bring one of the suction nozzles selected for use to a projecting position. The selected one is caused to project from a lower end face of the nozzle holder at the projecting position. A plurality of cam followers are mounted at respective upper portions of the suction nozzles. The cam followers are in contact with an annular end cam in a manner such that the cam flower can move on the annular end cam.

  • Patent number: 5544411
Abstract: An automatic electronic parts-mounting apparatus mounts chip-like electronic parts supplied from a parts feeder at predetermined positions on a printed substrate. The parts-mounting apparatus accurately and quickly determines angular positions of the electronic parts by rotating adsorptive nozzles. The adsorptive nozzles are capable of adsorbing the electronic parts one by one, and each nozzle is connected to a rotor of a nozzle-rotating motor for rotating the adsorptive nozzle within a plane that is perpendicular to an axis of the adsorptive nozzle. The rotor is rotated in accordance with the adsorbed state of the electronic parts to make fine adjustment for determining the angular position.

  • Patent number: 5539977
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically mounting electronic parts in which chip-like electronic parts supplied from a parts feeding device are mounted at predetermined positions on a printed substrate. For efficiently and accurately carrying out parts mounting operation by detecting the picked-up state of the electronic parts, the lower end position of the electronic part being held by a holding nozzle is identified at a plurality of points by a lower end position detecting section, while the lower end position memory section stores the detected lower end position. A selecting section selects the lowest end position among the lower end positions detected by the lower end position detecting section, and compares the obtained lowest end position data to data stored in the data memory section including lowest end position data for each sort of electronic part, and a judging section judges if the held state of the electronic part is normal or abnormal.
