  • Publication number: 20260143247
Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel (LCP), an optical system, an imaging element (IE), a memory, and a controller. The LCP selectively forms a first and a second geometric patterns. The optical system forms an image of light from a subject on a light-receiving surface of the IE. The IE converts the light from the subject that has passed through the LCP and the optical system into an electrical signal to obtain image data. The controller controls the LCP and the IE such that exposure and reading of image data into the memory in the IE are started in synchronization with a time point when a first time period has elapsed from a start of switching of a geometric pattern in the LCP, and switching of the geometric pattern in the LCP is started in synchronization with completion of reading of the image data into the memory.
