The firmware-management unit has a latest version of a management table in which version information of the plurality of the latest versions of firmware, and package information that indicates a combination of the firmware are registered, and that is downloaded from an information-distribution server, and that based on an instruction to check versions of the firmware, checks whether or not version information of the respective firmware that is read from the storage device and version information that is registered in the management table match.
