  • Patent number: 5309415
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for improving accuracy of recording and reproducing information onto and from a magneto-optic recording information medium. In the first method, a width of a mark formed by a relatively low intensity light beam between two kinds of light beam intensities used for recording information is made larger than a sum of a track land width and the maximum track offset of the light beam, thereby the mark formed by the relatively low intensity light beam covers the track land portion in its full width. In the first apparatus, a reflected light beam from the magneto-optic recording information medium is split into a reflected beam for information reproducing and a reflected beam for tracking and focusing servos at the reproducing, thereby the apparatus can remove part being affected by the track groove portion from the reflected light beam for information reproducing.

  • Patent number: 5073960
Abstract: By an image processing method, a contour of a figure is represented with a series of clockwise outline vectors, a sense of each vector being set such that the figure be painted out by painting a left side of the vector, then, an outline is created from the outline vectors, and the figure is painted through a scanning operation in an x-axis direction by starting a painting operation at an odd-numbered intersection of the outline and a horizontal scanning line and suspending the painting operation at an even-numbered intersection thereof, thus painting pixels between the odd-numbered intersection and the even-numbered intersection, inclusive of the pixel at the odd-numbered intersection but exclusive of the pixel at the even-numbered intersection. In order to create the outline, plotting points for the outline are first calculating from the outline vectors through use of Bresenham algorithm. Then, a positional relation of a current plotting point to the previous one and the next one is obtained.

  • Patent number: 4974172
Abstract: An image processing apparatus of the present invention is so arranged that the outline of a figure is represented with an outline vectors, and outline is created from the outline vectors. The contents of the outline may then be painted out. It is free from painting-out and deformation errors of the figures. Accordingly, an outline, free from painting-out errors caused with respect to the outline vectors may be created so that the figure which has been painted out is not changed from the initial figure.

  • Patent number: 4934275
Abstract: An apparatus capable of transferring objects to be transferred, such as car bodies and workpieces, in an inclined state. A support section capable supporting an object to be transferred is supported by three trolleys. These trolleys are guided for travel along the main rail. A pair of subrails branch from the main rail to opposite sides. Of the three trolleys, the one on the front side of the support section remains on the main rail while the other two are capable of moving from the main rail onto the subrails. The relative positions of the main rail and subrails, particularly the vertical positions are changed, whereby the object which is supported on the support is inclined.

  • Patent number: 4835571
Abstract: A corona discharging unit comprises a control grid to which a diode is attached and a high voltage AC power is applied to its discharge line. A single unit of this design with a single power source, when used in an electrophotographic copying machine with a rotating photosensitive drum, can perform more than one of the functions required in a copying process such as preliminary charging of the drum, transferring images, discharging and cleaning.

  • Patent number: 4669861
Abstract: An electrophotographic recording apparatus which repeats the development of an electrostatic latent image corresponding to the original, which is formed once on an image supporting means, with a toner and the succeeding transfer of the resulting toner image to a transfer substance, thereby producing a number of copies of the original, wherein said recording apparatus comprises a transferring means having at least one corona charger connected to a high AC voltage source to repeatedly conduct transfer and discharge, regions in which said transfer and said discharge are carried out, respectively, being adjacent to each other.

  • Patent number: 4325096
Abstract: A zero-phase current transformer for use as a leakage current detecting element in a leakage current interrupter in which two magnetic materials of different permeabilities are provided so as to eliminate a range where the leakage current interrupter is inoperable without lowering its ability to distinguish noise components. The different magnetic materials may be provided as a single core constructed by mixing the materials of different permeabilities. Otherwise, the materials can be provided as annually-shaped magnetic pieces stacked one on top of the other. Still further, the materials of different magnetic permeability may be provided as bands of materials interwound to form alternating layers or one of the materials may be provided as at least a portion of a protective case.
