  • Patent number: 9019412
Abstract: An information communication method selects between a visible light communication mode in which information is obtained from a subject using an image sensor having a plurality of exposure lines and a normal imaging mode. The information communication method includes obtaining first image data by image capture with a first exposure time in the normal imaging mode by sequentially starting exposure of each of the exposure lines of the image sensor at different times. Second image data is obtained by image capture with a second exposure time in the visible light communication mode. The information is obtained by demodulating data specified by a direction in a pattern of a bright line corresponding to the exposure lines, the second exposure time being shorter than the first exposure time. The second image data is obtained by capturing light emitted from the subject and spread by an optical system.

  • Patent number: 9008090
Abstract: A communication apparatus which, in an ad-hoc network, when receiving control packets from a plurality of terminals, can determine whether or not there is a collision among the control packets, and, based on the determination, can be prevented from continuing to be out of the network due to a collision among the control packets transmitted from the plurality of terminals. In the communication terminal, a communication section receives a control packet which periodically comes up on a communication path.

  • Patent number: 8994865
Abstract: An information communication method that obtains information from a subject includes setting an exposure time of an image sensor that, in an image obtained, a bright line corresponding to each of a plurality of exposure lines included in the image sensor appears, according to a change in luminance of the subject. A bright line image, in which the bright line is shown along with surroundings of the subject, is obtained by starting exposure of each of the exposure lines included in the image sensor at a sequentially different time. The bright line image is displayed and information is obtained when, in the bright line image, a part corresponding to the bright line is tapped, by demodulating data specified by a direction generally perpendicular to the exposure line in a pattern of the bright line corresponding to the tapped part.

  • Publication number: 20150042439
Abstract: A multilayer body 12 is obtained by stacking a plurality of insulator layers in which an inner conductor and a via hole conductor are formed. Outer electrodes 42a through 42e connected to the inner conductor layers are formed on the opposite side surfaces of the multilayer body 12. While the two outer electrodes 42a and 42b are formed so as to extend from one principal surface to the other principal surface of the multilayer body 12, the other outer electrodes 42c through 42e are formed so as to extend from one principal surface to an exposed portion of the inner conductor on the multilayer body 12, or formed so as not to reach the other principal surface. In addition, the widths of the outer electrodes 42a through 42e may differ from one another.
