    Abstract: A method for transmitting to one cell a frame including broadcast channels in a cellular wireless communication system in which a base station supports a plurality of physical channels corresponding to the broadcast channels. The base station generates the frame and transmits the generated frame to a mobile station. The frame includes separate broadcast channels for the respective physical channels. A position, in the frame, of a first broadcast channel for a physical channel capable of supporting a mobile station having the worst channel state is fixed in all of transmission frames. The first broadcast channel includes positional information of the remaining broadcast channels except for the first broadcast channel. The mobile station detects only an address of a broadcast channel for a physical channel allocated thereto from the first broadcast channel among broadcast channels belonging to the frame.

The apparatus for preventing mud from being hardened in a drain holding tank can circulate the mud at an area of the drain holding tank in which the mud is stored for a period of time, to prevent the mud from being hardened.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for transmitting feedback information by each of user terminals in a communication system including the user terminals with different numbers of antennas. A multicast data packet is received from a base station through a downlink multicast transmission channel. If the multicast data packet has never been successfully decoded before, the multicast data packet is decoded and the success/failure in decoding the multicast data packet is determined. Upon the failure in decoding the multicast data packet, a NACK signal indicating the failure in decoding the multicast data packet is generated with sequences, the number of which is equal to the number of antennas of the user terminal. The NACK signal is transmitted to the base station through a shared feedback channel. If the user terminal has at least two antennas, sequences corresponding to the at least two antennas are orthogonal to each other and constitute sequence signals.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for removing interference in a transmitting end of a multi-antenna system are provided. The method includes receiving channel information for all Receive (Rx) antennas; calculating a beam-forming matrix that maximizes a Signal-to-Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) for each Rx antenna by using the received channel information; calculating an integer value which is in proportion to an interference signal for each Rx antenna by using the received channel information and the calculated beam-forming matrix, and performing Dirty Paper Coding (DPC) on a Transmit (Tx) signal by using the calculated integer value; and performing beam-forming by multiplying the Tx signal that has undergone the DPC by the calculated beam-forming matrix. Accordingly, a highest data rate for each user and a highest diversity can be obtained.

Because the bit/power loading method selects a combination of sub-channel modulation modes with the minimum total transmission power for a given number of bits on the basis of transmission power in each sub-channel modulation mode, the bits can be transmitted at the minimum transmission power in a given environment.

The apparatus includes a transmitter for transmitting data by applying a different scramble code to each transmitted data through a plurality of transmitting antennas. The apparatus also includes a receiver for receiving the transmitted data by obtaining a diversity gain based on the maximum order of the diversity in order to effectively detect the data. The present invention achieves an excellent detection performance by receiving data with a full order of diversity, which is a multiple of the number of receiving antennas and the number of multipath, without complicated operation such as a decision feed equalizer.
