    Abstract: Sequential lateral solidification (SLS) crystallization of amorphous silicon uses a mask having light transmitting portions. A method of crystallizing an amorphous silicon film using the mask includes forming an amorphous silicon layer over a substrate; forming a metal layer on the amorphous silicon layer; patterning the metal layer to expose a portion of the amorphous silicon layer in a TFT area where a thin film transistor is formed; disposing the mask over the portion of the amorphous silicon layer exposed by the metal layer; and irradiating the portion of the amorphous silicon layer exposed by the metal layer using a laser beam that passes through the light transmitting portions of the mask such that the portion of the amorphous silicon layer is crystallized and laterally growing grains are formed in grain regions.

The pumping circuit comprises a first pumping block for pumping an input voltage, a first latch for latching the output of the first pumping block, a second pumping block for pumping the output of the first pumping block according to a control signal, a second latch for latching the output of the second pumping block, and a switching circuit for selectively outputting the outputs of the first and second latches according to the control signal. Thus, a program voltage and a program verify voltage of different levels are pumped. The ripple and active current can be reduced and the program efficiency can be increased.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel Enterobacter sp. strain SSYL deposited under accession number KCTC 0687BP isolated from the root bark of Chinese elm, which produces immunostimulating exopolysaccharides with anticancer activity, a process for preparing the exopolysaccharides by fermenting the said microorganism in a culture medium, exopolysaccharides prepared by the process and their uses thereof. The exopolysaccharides of the invention have a molecular weight of 100,000 to 1,000,000 and consist of 40-75% of total sugar, 5-15% of total acidic sugar and 10-25% of total protein. The exopolysaccharides exhibits a high immunoenhancing activity in immune cell proliferation, direct mitogenicity and mixed lymphocyte reaction, and further a high anticancer activity in vivo by virtue of immunostimulation.

A collimator lens is arranged on a second path of the laser beams from the flat beam splitter to shape the laser beams. An objective lens focuses the shaped laser beams at least upon an optical disc.

    Abstract: A computer case is disclosed that allows a user to open and close the case without the use of special tools or screws. Instead, a user simply slides two sliders on the cover of the case towards each other and simply lifts up the front portion of the cover to gain access to the interior of the case. The slider is monolithically integrated to a latch. The latch contains two spaced-apart arms about a recess. One of the arms of the latch is arcuate so as to guide a portion of the base and a portion of a cover that are slightly separated into the recess so that both portions are mated snugly preventing inadvertent opening of the case. This snug mating can be accomplished by simply sliding a pair of slider in the proper directions. To disengage the cover from the base, the sliders are slid in the opposite directions releasing a portions of the base from contact with a portions of the cover. When the case is released, the front of the cover can be lifted up.
