Abstract: Disclosed is a method for the preparation of an anhydrosugar alcohol using a starch-derived hexitol such as sorbitol or mannitol Anhydrosugar alcohol is in the form of a diol having two hydroxyl groups in the molecule thereof and has a very high utility value as a physical property modifier which can be used primarily in plastics. Representative examples of anhydrosugar alcohols include isosorbide and isomannide. These anhydrosugar alcohols are capable of increasing a glass transition temperature of and improving strength of PET, polyesters, polycarbonates, etc., and are therefore highly valuable as biodegradable environmentally-friendly bioplastics.

Abstract: A method for fabricating a color filter substrate is disclosed, to realize the simplified fabrication process by forming a film-type color filter layer, which includes preparing a mask having patterns for forming color filter layers and a black matrix layer; positioning the mask above a film; irradiating light to the film through the mask; developing the film to form the film-type color filter layers and the black matrix layer; and adhering the developed film onto a substrate.

More particularly, an apparatus and a method for securing a space of a mobile terminal and reducing manufacturing costs by integrating power amplifying units into one module in the mobile terminal that supports a multi-mode are provided. The power amplifier of a mobile terminal includes a first amplifying unit and a second amplifying unit. The first amplifying unit defines a frequency of a GSM quad band as a low frequency band and a high frequency band, and then amplifies a signal of the low frequency band of the GSM quad band. The second amplifying unit amplifies a signal of the high frequency band of the GSM quad band and a signal of a TD-SCDMA band.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a drive control apparatus of a camera module and a method of controlling camera module drive. The drive control apparatus of the camera module according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a lens module movable along an optical axis; a first and a second stoppers defining maximum moving section of the lens module; and a controller for determining an available moving section by applying a first determined correction value to the maximum moving section so as to make the lens module to move between locations spaced from the first and second stoppers with a predetermined distance. According to the present invention, it is advantageously possible to reduce the electric current consumption when performing auto-focusing function.

Abstract: The present invention prevents performance degradation caused by a multiplication frequency of a memory clock in a wireless communication system by changing a frequency of the memory clock so that a multiplication frequency is not sufficiently close to a transmission/reception frequency that will cause noise or interference with a data transmission/reception. A communication apparatus according to the present invention includes a controller comprising at least one processor; and a memory for operating at a clock provided from the controller. The controller checks a communication frequency, determines whether the communication frequency is a value in a range of interference from a multiplication frequency of a memory clock frequency, and changes the memory clock frequency.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for supporting a handover from a macro Base Station (BS) to a micro BS in a broadband wireless communication system are provided. The apparatus includes a user layer for requesting scanning information on micro BSs among neighbor BSs and an MIH function for obtaining the scanning information on the micro BSs by interoperating with an MIH server according to the request and for transmitting the obtained information to the user layer. Accordingly, the handover from the macro BS to the micro BS can be achieved.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for securing media independent handover message transportation are provided. The method for securing media independent handover message transportation, include: performing an authentication procedure by a terminal with an access router to generate a master session key; transmitting the generated master session key and address information of the terminal to an information server by the access router; generating an information server key to be used in transmitting and receiving a message by the information server with the terminal using the received master session key and the address information of the terminal; and forming a secure channel by the terminal and the information server using the generated information server key. Since a key formed at a layer 2 is used in an MIH authentication step being a layer 3 not to repeatedly create a secure key, a security procedure may be rapidly performed.
