  • Publication number: 20070296774
Abstract: An ink supplying apparatus of an image forming device including an ink discharging unit to discharge ink of an ink cartridge, a needle connected to the ink discharging unit to form an ink supplying passage, a blocking unit to block the needle from being exposed to the outside, and a sealing member to seal the ink discharging unit and the blocking unit. Accordingly, the apparatus can not only block the needle from being exposed to the outside, but can also prevent an ink leakage, thereby facilitating a safer use of the image forming device to safely use.

  • Patent number: 7305142
Abstract: A method of coding a moving picture is provided that reduces blocking artifacts. The method can include defining a plurality of defining pixels S0, S1, and S2, which are centered around a block boundary. If a default mode is selected then frequency information of the surroundings of the block boundary is obtained. A magnitude of a discontinuous component in a frequency domain belonging to the block boundary is adjusted based on a magnitude of a corresponding discontinuous component selected from a pixel contained entirely within a block adjacent the block boundary. The frequency domain adjustment is then applied to a spatial domain. Or, a DC offset mode can be selected to reduce blocking artifacts in smooth regions where there is little motion.

  • Publication number: 20060274129
Abstract: An ink supply system for an ink cartridge includes an ink tank and a negative pressure regulator. The ink tank holds ink of a predetermined color therein and has an exit port disposed on a lower portion thereof to dispense ink from the tank. The negative pressure regulator is attached to the ink tank and has a body, a needle protruding from an upper portion of the body, and a needle protective member disposed about the needle and to move vertically over the needle. When the ink tank and the negative pressure regulator are assembled, the exit port presses down on the needle protective member, and the needle extends from the needle protective member into the exit port.

  • Publication number: 20060012651
Abstract: An inkjet cartridge includes a cartridge body provided with an ink storing space to store ink therein, a lid mounted on an upper portion of the cartridge body to seal the cartridge body, a head chip mounted on a lower portion of the cartridge body to eject the ink stored in the cartridge body, and an elastic member mounted on the cartridge body to absorb an impact transmitted to the head chip. Therefore, an impact applied from an exterior of the cartridge body is blocked and absorbed by the elastic member before the impact is applied to the head chip. As a result, a crack phenomenon of the head chip due to the external impact is fully prevented.

  • Publication number: 20060007275
Abstract: An ink cartridge and an inkjet printer using the same. The ink cartridge includes a cartridge case having an ink storing space, negative pressure forming foam inserted into the cartridge case, and a filter pipe installed on a bottom surface of the cartridge case, wherein the bottom surface of the cartridge case is formed to be entirely in contact with a bottom surface of the foam. Thus, a dead space around the filter pipe is minimized or eliminated, therefore solving a problem where the ink would otherwise remain to a certain extent in the dead space. In addition, the air existing in the dead space together with the ink does not affect the ink ejection performance of a head due to expansion and shrinkage of the air to stably maintain the ink ejection performance.
