  • Patent number: 6911755
Abstract: A capstan-motor assembly for a magnetic recording/reading apparatus comprises a bearing holder fixed to a motor frame on a main deck for rotatably supporting a shaft; a stator core coupled to the bearing holder, and on which a coil is wound; a rotor frame coupled to the shaft so as to be rotated together with the shaft, and in which a magnet corresponding to the coil is supported; and a PCB substrate disposed between the stator core and the motor frame, and electrically connected with the coil. The bearing holder has a soldering boss soldered to the PCB substrate and/or the stator core so as to protrude to outer surfaces thereof, thereby reducing components needed to affix PCB substrate and stator core to the bearing holder.

  • Patent number: 6892384
Abstract: A disk loading for loading either a first or second, smaller, disk. The disk loading device comprises a main chassis, a power transmission unit, a slider, a first and second linkage mechanism, a sub-chassis, and a locking lever. The first linkage mechanism guides the first disk to a chucking position while being pushed and moved by the first disk, and moves the slider in connection with the power transmission unit when the first disk is being introduced. The second linkage mechanism connects the slider to the power transmission unit while being pushed and moved by the second disk when the second disk is moved to the chucking position. The sub-chassis is linked to a guide unit which separates the first linkage mechanism from the first disk or the second disk placed on the chucking position. The locking lever selectively locks the movement of the first linkage mechanism or releasing the locking of the first linkage mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20040062521
Abstract: A capstan motor connection structure of a tape recorder comprising a first connector disposed at a main printed circuit board (PCB) to be electrically connected to the main PCB, a second connector disposed at an end of the main base corresponding to the first connector to be electrically connected to the first connector, and a cable penetratingly supported in a supporting hole formed in the main base, for electrically connecting the sub PCB of the capstan motor to the second connector. The capstan motor is arranged with its body being placed in a hole formed in the main PCB, to thus reduce a distance between the main base and the main PCB. Accordingly, the overall height of the tape recorder can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20030235132
Abstract: A disk loading apparatus for a disk player, comprising a housing having a turntable disposed inside, a main chassis disposed on top of the housing and onto which a convey roller for conveying a disk is supported, and a slider disposed on a side of the main chassis to move in the loading and unloading directions of the disk. The apparatus further comprises a sub-chassis disposed on the main chassis to reciprocate in a direction transverse to the loading and unloading direction in relation to movement of the slider, and a chucking unit disposed on the main chassis to pivot up and down in relation to movement of the sub-chassis for clamping the disk that has been moved onto a chucking position.

  • Publication number: 20030235131
Abstract: An apparatus for loading a disk in a disk player. The apparatus includes a main chassis on which a transferring roller for transferring the disk to the inside of the player is mounted; a power transferring unit for transferring power of a driving motor to the transferring roller; and a slider mounted on the main chassis, for being moved back and forth along a loading direction of the disk, and which is selectively connected to the power transferring unit, for being driven back and forth. The apparatus further includes an interworking mechanism for guiding the disk into a chucking position, and which is moved and pushed by the disk going forward upon entrance of the disk, to move the slider to connect with the power transferring unit; and a sub-chassis for cooperating with the slider to move back and forth in a direction perpendicular to the loading direction, and to cooperate with the interworking mechanism to isolate the interworking mechanism from the disk positioned on the chucking position.

  • Patent number: 5701215
Abstract: A tape cassette loading apparatus of a tape recorder operates with reduced noise and fewer components. A biasing unit for elastically biasing a tape cassette during placement onto reel tables toward the reel tables is provided with a leaf spring member having one end fixed at the side of a holder and a stop installed on the holder at any location on an elastic deformation path of the leaf spring member. Thus, a single leaf spring member enables a tape cassette to be stably placed on the holder and seated on the reel tables.
