    Abstract: A clock recovery circuit includes a frequency tracking loop including a first charge pump, and a phase tracking loop including a second charge pump. A voltage-controlled oscillator responds to the frequency tracking loop in a first operating mode and to the phase tracking loop in a second operating mode. A lock detector outputs an activation signal that indicates whether the clock recovery circuit has acquired frequency lock. A loop filter coupled to an input of the voltage-controlled oscillator includes a switchable resistor and a programmable delay element responsive to the activation signal. The first charge pump is disabled when the activation signal indicates frequency lock has been acquired, and disabled when the activation signal indicates frequency lock has not been acquired. The switchable resistor is bypassed when an output of the programmable delay element is in the first signaling state.

The master controller is configured to perform a control to circularly cut the rod workpiece with the grinding wheel according to the segment length.     Abstract: A piece of natural wood can be immersed in a first solution at a first temperature less than 100° C. and then immersed in a second solution at a second temperature greater than 100° C. so as to form a piece of partially-delignified wood. In some embodiments, the first and second solutions can be the same solution, and the immersion at the second temperature can be heating the solution from the first temperature to the second temperature. The immersion in the first and second solutions can be effective to remove 45-90% of lignin from the piece of natural wood and to destroy a structure of the ray cells in the piece of natural wood while retaining cell walls of the other cells. The partially-delignified wood can then be dried. After drying, the partially-delignified wood can be clastic along its tangential direction but inelastic along its radial and longitudinal directions.

The target object is painted with invisible markers that are invisible to the first camera device when the invisible light source is off. The invisible markers are visible to the second camera device upon absorbing a light emitted by the invisible light source. The second images are used to determine 3D information of the target object.

    Abstract: A process of forming a back side deep trench isolation structure for an image sensing device includes etching first trenches in the back side of a semiconductor substrate, lining the first trenches with dielectric, depositing passivation layers over and within the first trenches, and etching second trenches through the passivation layers into the first trenches, and filling the second trenches to form a substrate-embedded metal grid. Optionally, the bottoms of the first trenches are filled by depositing and etching a lower fill material prior to depositing the passivation layers. The method prevents the passivation layers from pinching off in a way that causes voids within the first trenches. The result is better optical performance such as increased quantum efficiency and reduced crosstalk.
