  • Patent number: 10797125
Abstract: A display may have display driver circuitry. Signal routing lines may supply multiplexed signals from the display driver circuitry to demultiplexer circuitry. The demultiplexer circuitry may provide corresponding demultiplexed signals to the pixels over signal routing lines. The demultiplexer circuitry may have demultiplexer circuit blocks such as 1:N demultiplexer circuit blocks. Each of the demultiplexer circuit blocks may have the same area and layout. The demultiplexer circuit blocks may run across the width of the display. A first portion of the demultiplexer circuit blocks may extend in a straight line parallel to an edge of the active area. A second portion of the demultiplexer circuit blocks may be arranged in a staircase pattern that angles away from the first portion of demultiplexer circuit blocks.

  • Patent number: 10755441
Abstract: A geometric camera calibration system includes an extrinsic iterative closest point (ICP) device that generates an estimated extrinsic matrix by adjusting an initial extrinsic matrix according to first 3D points in camera coordinates; and an intrinsic ICP device that receives 3D points in chessboard coordinates and accordingly generates an error metric between the 3D points in chessboard coordinates and predetermined second reference 3D points. The extrinsic ICP device performs ICP operation to minimize difference between the 3D points in camera coordinates and predetermined first reference 3D points. A current intrinsic matrix is then outputted as an updated intrinsic matrix if a current error metric is not greater than a previous error metric.

  • Patent number: 10720686
Abstract: A novel miniaturized horizontal split-wave orthomode transducer includes a common channel portion, a first polarized channel portion and a second polarized channel portion, and the centers of the openings of the first polarized channel and the second polarized channel are coaxially and respectively arranged on two opposite sides of the common channel portion to save the bend and extended structure at the rear end of the horizontal split-wave orthomode transducer and also save the occupied space since there is no need to guide signals in one of the polarization directions to the rear and return the signals, so as to further achieve the effects of improving the flexibility of installing the transducer, providing a good isolation between electromagnetic signals in different polarization directions and preventing the interference occurred between the electromagnetic signals.

  • Publication number: 20200219945
Abstract: A display may have an array of pixels. Display driver circuitry may supply data and control signals to the pixels. Each pixel may have seven transistors, a capacitor, and a light-emitting diode such as an organic light-emitting diode. The seven transistors may receive control signals using horizontal control lines. Each pixel may have first and second emission enable transistors that are coupled in series with a drive transistor and the light-emitting diode of that pixel. The first and second emission enable transistors may be coupled to a common control line or may be separately controlled so that on-bias stress can be effectively applied to the drive transistor. The display driver circuitry may have gate driver circuits that provide different gate line signals to different rows of pixels within the display. Different rows may also have different gate driver strengths and different supplemental gate line loading structures.

  • Patent number: 10707282
Abstract: A display may have organic light-emitting diode pixels formed from thin-film circuitry. An organic layer including planarization layers and a pixel definition layer may overlap the thin-film circuitry. Thin-film encapsulation may overlap the organic layer. The thin-film encapsulation may be formed from an organic dielectric layer interposed between two layers of inorganic dielectric material. A strip of peripheral crack-stopper structures may run along an edge of the display and may surround the array of pixels. The crack-stopper structures may include parallel inorganic lines formed from a first inorganic layer such as an inorganic layer of the thin-film circuitry. A strip of the organic layer may overlap the parallel inorganic lines. The crack-stopper structures may have parallel tapered polymer lines. The polymer lines may be overlapped by a second inorganic dielectric layer formed from the inorganic material of the thin-film encapsulation layer.

Abstract: Laser emission based microscope devices and methods of using such devices for detecting laser emissions from a tissue sample are provided. The scanning microscope has first and second reflection surfaces and a scanning cavity holding a stationary tissue sample with at least one fluorophore/lasing energy responsive species. At least a portion of the scanning cavity corresponds to a high quality factor (Q) Fabry-PĂ©rot resonator cavity. A lasing pump source directs energy at the scanning cavity while a detector receives and detects emissions generated by the fluorophore(s) or lasing energy responsive species. The second reflection surface and/or the lasing pump source are translatable with respect to the stationary tissue sample for generating a two-dimensional scan of the tissue sample. Methods for detecting multiplexed emissions or quantifying one or more biomarkers in a histological tissue sample, for example for detection and diagnosis of cancer, or other disorders/diseases are provided.

  • Patent number: 10642079
Abstract: A display may have contacts that mate with a flexible printed circuit. The contacts may be used in providing data and control signals to pixels. A metal layer may be patterned to form metal traces for signal lines that extend outwardly towards an edge of the display from the contacts. Delamination stopper structures may be formed along the periphery of the display to inhibit delamination between layers of material on the display. The delamination stopper structures may be formed from bent portions of the metal traces, a slot-shaped inorganic layer opening that runs perpendicular to the metal traces, and a segmented trench in an organic layer. A corrosion blocker structure may be formed by creating metal trace gaps in the metal traces that are each bridged by a pair of vias that are shorted together using transparent conductive material such as a pair of indium tin oxide layers.
