    Abstract: A method includes configuring a preset reference pulse number, and controlling a test contact piece for testing chip leads to move toward a target chip lead, using a control signal corresponding to the preset reference pulse number. First data is continuously obtained and used to determine whether the test contact piece is in contact with the target chip lead. When the test contact piece is in contact with the target chip lead, the test contact piece is controlled to stop moving. Second data is obtained characterizing movement of the test contact piece from a time when the test contact piece initially contacts the target chip lead to a time when the test contact piece stops moving. The preset reference pulse number is adjusted based on the second data. A system and device, and a computer-readable storage medium are also provided for implementing the method.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a circuit structure having an insulating layer; a plurality of first circuits disposed on one side of the insulating layer; and a plurality of first electrical connection pads, each having a first extension portion extending toward and electrically connected to one end of a first circuit of the first circuits, wherein a width of the extension portion gradually decreases toward a junction of the first extension portion and the first circuit. By implementing of the present disclosure, stress on the junction between the electrical connection pad and the circuit can be dispersed along the extension portion through the arrangement of the extension portion and its tapered width design, thereby preventing fracture on the junction of the electrical connection pad and the circuit due to excessively concentrated stress, so that the manufacturing yield and reliability of semiconductor packages with this circuit structure can be improved.

    Abstract: High resolution 3D thermal imaging can be obtained by using enhanced non-destructive heat transducer designs. A thermal property measurement method includes providing a sample for thermal property measurement, and bonding a transducer layer on the sample through a temporary bonding layer. Thermal measurement processes are performed along the X-Y, X-Z and Y-Z planes of the sample, wherein the X-Y plane is parallel to a top surface of the sample, and the X-Z plane and Y-Z plane are perpendicular to the top surface of the sample. Each thermal measurement processes include heating a designated region of the sample covered with the transducer layer using a pump laser, and using a probe laser for generating a reflectance signal of the sample, and determining a thermal conductivity in the designated region of the sample from the reflectance signal. Furthermore, the transducer layer is removed along with the temporary bonding layer from the sample.

    Abstract: Scrap plant or plant-based materials are processed to form an engineered structure, or a portion thereof. An assembly of individual strands of scrap material can be provided, with the fiber directions of the strands within the assembly being substantially aligned. The assembly of scrap material strands can be subjected to one or more chemical treatments that modify a property of the lignin in and/or partially remove the lignin from the individual scrap material strands. The alignment of the fiber directions can be maintained during the chemical treatment(s). The chemically-treated assembly can be compressed to form a densified piece of scrap material, for example, having enhanced mechanical properties.
