The second polymer layer has an inverse opal photonic crystal structure where gold nanoparticles and second antibodies are distributed. At least one of the composite antibodies, an antigen and at least one of the second antibodies forms a complex in the second polymer layer, and an antigen concentration is obtained by a fluorescence intensity, a degree of red-shift or a change in a visual color of the biosensor.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are drug-containing vesicles, each of which includes a carbon dot liposome (C-dot liposome) formed by a plurality of Janus particles, which are self-assembled into the C-dot liposome; and a drug encapsulated within the C-dot liposome. Also disclosed herein is a method of producing the drug-containing vesicles. The method includes, mixing a plurality of Janus particles with a drug solution (e.g., an anti-cancer drug solution) to form a mixed solution; and producing the drug-containing vesicles either by a film-hydration method or an injection method. In the film-hydration method, the mixed solution is condensed until a film-like structure is formed; and sonicating the film-like structure in a salt solution to produce the drug-containing vesicle. In the injection method, the mixed solution is rapidly injected into a salt solution to produce the drug-containing vesicle. Also encompasses in the present disclosure are methods for treating a subject afflicted with a cancer.

    Abstract: A method for fabrication a nanosheet device includes providing forming a stacked layer on a substrate, having first material layers and second material layers in different materials, alternatingly stacked up. The stacked layer is patterned to a stacked fin. A dummy stack is formed on the stacked fin. An etching back process is performed with the dummy stack with spacers to etch the stacked fin and expose the substrate. Laterally etches the first material layers and the second material layers, to have indent portions. Inner spacers fill the indent portions. A first/second source/drain layer is formed on the substrate at both sides of the dummy stack. Etching process is performed to remove the dummy gate of the dummy stack and the selected one of the first material layers and the second material layers between the inner spacers. Metal layer fills between the spacers and the inner spacers.
