    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Some wireless communications systems may support orbital angular momentum (OAM) communications between a transmitting device and a receiving device. The transmitting device may generate signals for transmission to the receiving device via a transmitter circle that includes a first quantity of antenna arrays. The transmitting device may transmit the signals using the transmitter circle based on multiple sets of OAM weights, where each signal may be associated with a respective set of OAM weights. The receiving device may receive the signals using a receiver circle that includes a second quantity of antenna arrays that is different than the first quantity. The receiving device may decode the signals based on multiple sets of OAM weights. The sets of OAM weights at the transmitting device and the receiving device may be based on the first quantity being different than the second quantity.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for beam training a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) for sidelink communications between UEs. A base station may transmit an indication of a resource pool to a receiving UE and a transmitting UE for beam training a RIS. The transmitting UE may identify a resource pattern for training the RIS using the indicated resource pool where the resource pattern is associated with a pattern of beams at the RIS. The transmitting UE may transmit a sidelink reference signal using the identified resource. The receiving UE may receive the reference signal via the RIS according the pattern of beams and transmit a beam report to the transmitting UE. Beam training may be based on a capability of the RIS to use either a different beamformer or a different RIS configuration on different subchannels of the same resource pool.

    Abstract: This document describes techniques for enabling de-aliased imaging for a synthetic aperture radar. Radar signals processed by a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system may include false detections in the form of aliasing induced by grating lobes. The techniques described herein can reduce the adverse effects of grating lobes by obtaining an initial SAR image using a back-projection algorithm. Aliasing effects (e.g., false detections) in this initial image may be common due to the limitations of an SAR system moving at non-uniform speeds. A refined image is produced from the initial image by applying a de-aliasing filter to the initial image. The refined image may have reduced or eliminated false detections that attribute to aliasing effects, resulting in a better representation of the environment of the vehicle.

At least one of the different antenna ports may use at least two of the SRS resources. A quantity of the different antenna ports assigned to each SRS resource may be different for the SRS antenna switching. The UE may sound the different antenna ports an equal number of times, and at least one of the different antenna ports may use at least two of the SRS resources for the SRS antenna switching.

    Abstract: Provided is a method of reconstructing multi-source long-time-series night light data and a system thereof, relating to the field of reconstructing ecological remote sensing data. Based on night light images of a first-generation satellite DMSP/OLS (Defense Meteorological Satellite Program/Operational Line-scan System) and a second-generation satellite NPP/VIIRS (National Polar-orbiting Partnership/Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite), a method of reconstructing a set of long-time-series night light data products is developed. Since satellite images that two generations of satellites have at the same time in a certain year use an inverse hyperbolic sine transform to fit NPP/VIIRS in 2013 into a data form of DMSP/OLS, and obtain an optimal fitting equation, thus producing a set of long-time-series data products from 1992 to 2021. The method can solve a fault problem between two generations of light data of DMSP/OLS and NPP/VIRS, and improve the accuracy of data reconstruction.

A first feature of the first object is determined based on a first encoder, and a second feature of the second object is determined based on a second encoder. The first encoder is updated based on the first and second features and the first and second events. With these implementations, multiple events are used in determining the encoder for extracting the feature, and thus the encoder may have better performance in accuracy and increase performance of downstream tasks.

Additionally, points data generated using the LIDAR sensor, such as an occupancy map and/or a point cloud, is processed to identify a portion of the points associated with (e.g., located within) the 3D shape. This portion of the points may then be used to determine the information associated with the object.

The UE may receive a downlink control information (DCI) message from the network entity indicating an adjustment to the transmission power level and a resource for an aperiodic TRS. The UE may monitor the resource for the aperiodic TRS in accordance with the indicated adjustment to the transmission power level. The UE may transmit a message to the network entity indicating a measurement of the aperiodic TRS based on the adjustment to the power level. The adjustment to the power level may apply to one or more of the set of multiple periodic TRSs.
