Abstract: A system and method to cancel a blindly-transferred call in Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) includes receiving a call request from an endpoint and selecting a first call agent to handle the call request. A blind transfer of the call request is initiated to the first call agent. It is determined whether the first call agent is available to handle the call request. If the first call agent is not available to handle the call request, the blind transfer of the call request is canceled.

The network device then monitors incoming invite messages for a header containing the identifier and observes that an incoming invite message containing the header correlates to the original call. When a header is not included, the network device extracts information from the incoming invite messages and compares the extracted information to the modified table entry to correlate one of the incoming invite messages to the original call.

Abstract: A method for providing fail-over capability in a local branch of a call center includes determining, by a local device, which of a plurality of phones are call center phones. The determination is based on a predetermined rule set. In an alternative embodiment, the method may also include determining, by the local device, which of the plurality of call center phones are available for receiving calls. This may include determining whether a “do not disturb” function of each respective call center phone is invoked, and in response, determining whether the call center phone is available. In addition, this method may involve placing, by the local device, each call center phone into a “do not disturb” mode if the call center phone does not answer a call sent to the call center phone.

Abstract: An exemplary flat panel display (2) includes a display module (20), a supporting member (30) attached to the display module, and a base (40) engaged with the supporting member. The supporting member includes engaging members (31), and the base includes elastic arms (411). The engaging members detachably engage with corresponding elastic arms whereby the supporting member is detachably engaged with the base. The base can be detached from the supporting member of the flat panel display whenever desired. Therefore once the flat panel display has been newly manufactured, it can be conveniently wrapped and transported at a reduced cost.
