  • Publication number: 20060077162
Abstract: A thin film transistor array plate, a liquid crystal display panel and a method of preventing electrostatic discharge thereof are provided. The thin film transistor array comprises a substrate, pixel structures, switching devices, lead lines and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protecting circuits. The substrate has a display region and a peripheral circuit region. The pixel structures are disposed within the display region and the switching devices are disposed within the peripheral circuit region. The lead lines are disposed on the substrate to electrically connect the pixel structures and the switching devices. The ESD protecting circuits are disposed within the peripheral circuit region such that each ESD protecting circuit is electrically connected to the corresponding switching devices. The ESD protecting circuits prevent electrostatic discharge, simplify the circuit layout and improve production efficiency of the plate and the panel.

  • Publication number: 20050016836
Abstract: The present invention includes that using single layer amorphous CoTbAg thin films as heat assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) media, and the method for producing these CoTbAg amorphous thin films. Co69.48?XTb30.52AgX films with x=0˜25.68 at. % are fabricated by DC or RF magnetron sputtering and rotating substrate. Two kinds of targets can be used. One is the CoTbAg alloy target. The other one consists of Co, Tb and Ag three targets. The CoTbAg film is prepared by co-sputtering of Co, Tb and Ag targets. The film composition can be controlled by changing the sputtering power density of each target. CoTbAg films are deposited on glass substrate or nature-oxide silicon wafer at room temperature. These films have high saturation magnetization and high perpendicular coercivity. They have amorphous structure and can be applied to HAMR media.

  • Publication number: 20040158877
Abstract: A control method and device of a video signal combined with interactive control data are proposed, wherein interactive control data are added into or extracted from a video signal. The adding method adds the interactive control data into the front and rear blocks in the video signal exceeding the image display area. The image display area means a frame in the video signal. The front block means a plurality of image scan lines in front of each frame, and the rear block means a plurality of image scan lines behind each frame. Similarly, the extraction method extracts the interactive control data from the front and rear blocks exceeding the image display area.

  • Patent number: 6758578
Abstract: A lamp holder includes a socket and a cap. The socket is provided at a rear end with a wire groove and two piercing terminals upward projected from the wire groove. The cap has a top recess to provide a bottom surface. To assemble the lamp holder to an cable, simply position the wire in the wire groove and screw the cap onto the rear end of the socket. The bottom surface of the cap and areas at two lower opposite sides of the cap evenly apply forces in the same direction to three serial points on the cable while pressing the latter against the piercing terminals, so that the cable is quickly and accurately pierced through to electrically connect to the lamp holder. The lamp holder may also be connected to a universal link, a lampshade and the like for use at different places.

  • Publication number: 20040073906
Abstract: A computer system includes a processor capable of executing a plurality of N threads of instructions, N being an integer greater than one, with a set of global registers visible to each of the plurality of threads and a plurality of busy bit memory elements used to signal whether or not a register is in use by a thread. The processor includes logic to stall a read from global register if the thread reading the global register is a speculative thread and the busy bits for prior threads are set. The processor might also include a speculative load address memory, into which speculative loads from speculative threads are entered and logic to compare addresses for stores from nonspeculative threads with addressees in the speculative load address memory and invalidate speculative threads corresponding to the speculative load addresses stored in the speculative load address memory.

  • Patent number: 6236092
Abstract: A mixed mode device. A polysilicon layer is over a substrate having a well therein. A first metal layer is formed over the polysilicon layer. A second metal layer is formed over the first metal layer. A conductive type of the well and a conductive type of the substrate are oppositive. A part of the polysilicon layer is positioned over the well. Heavily doped regions are further formed in the well beside the polysilicon layer. The polysilicon layer is used as gates of MOS transistors, and the heavily doped regions are used as source/drain regions of the MOS transistors. The first metal layer over the gate has a finger structure which electrically couples with the drain regions of the MOS transistors. The second metal layer electrically couples with the source regions through vias.
