    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosed technologies are capable of providing engagement feedback for an online system while maintaining user privacy. Embodiments determine one or more user groups. A user group includes users, and a size of the user group is selected to protect user privacy. A user action is received from a user in a first group. The user action includes an interaction with a piece of content. A group action count is updated for the first group based on the user action. The group action count indicates a number of interactions with the piece of content by any of the users in the first group. An estimated number of unique engagements is calculated based on the group action count and the size of the first group. The estimated number of unique engagements is provided to the online system as the engagement feedback for the piece of content.

The online concierge system provides suggested alternate parking locations to a client device of the shopper, where they may be displayed, e.g., as part of an electronic map. Use of the suggested alternate parking locations helps to preserve parking availability in restricted areas such as retailer parking lots and to reduce traffic congestion in the area of the retailer.

Crushed and mixed biomass and modifier are fed into a hot pressing and pyrolysis device, and hot-pressing molding and pyrolysis carbonization are completed synchronously, which solves the problem of multiple steps and complicated equipment in the existing preparation process for molded biochar material. In-situ bonding molding is realized by adhesion, bridging, cross-linking and mechanical interlocking functions of low-temperature molten & softened lignin and pyrolytic tar. No additional cross-linking agent is needed in this process, so the production cost is low. Covering and suffocating actions of trace flame retardant modifier are utilized to reduce the temperature of biomass pyrolysis carbonization, inhibit excessive ablation and accelerate polycondensation reaction, thus to improve the specific surface area and yield of a product, and improve the cost performance of the product.
