    Abstract: A side view surface mount light emitting device is disclosed. The light emitting device comprises a side oriented package comprising a floor and a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) mounted on the floor. The device further includes a plurality of contact pins in electrical contact, such that the plurality of contact pins protrude from a side of the package, in which at least one of the contact pins is oriented in a direction opposite the remaining contact pins. The LEDs of the device are disposed to emit light in a direction parallel to said mount surface. Some configurations also include a plurality of bond pads, on or a part of the floor, to facilitate electrical connection between the LEDs and the contact pins, in which adjacent bond pads have a tapered shape such that the widest portion of a first bond pad is adjacent to the narrowest portion of a second bond pad. Displays including such devices are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A polymer sheet includes a polyurethane core. The polyurethane core has a first major surface and a second major surface opposite the first major surface. The polymer sheet can have at least one functional layer overlying a major surface. The polymer sheet has a thickness tPS. The polyurethane core has a thickness tPC. In embodiments tPC can be at least 0.3 tPS. The polyurethane core can have at least one of the following property: (i) a Scratch Resistance Rating, as further described herein, of not greater than about 10 wt %, (ii) an elongation at break of at least 200%, (iii) a tensile strength at break of at least 0.3 MPa, (iv) a loss of tensile strength of not greater than about 30% when exposed to UV light according to standard SAE J1960 (Rev. August 2003). The polymer sheet can be used for gaskets or bonding tapes.

A mapping record generator generates a mapping record for each of the changed sections. A first mapping record comprises data associated with the first weight. The first mapping record is associated with a particular version of the one or more files and is linked to mapping records associated with other changed sections using the link.

    Abstract: An immersion fixed bed reactor intensified by liquid flow contains a cylindrical tank internally installed with an annular cylindrical catalyst bed (ACCB) packed with solid catalysts is provided. The inner and outer walls of the ACCB are composed of two layers of stainless steel sheets with holes. The outer layer of stainless steel perforated with holes. The inner layer of catalyst contacting stainless steel is covered with stainless steel waved mesh in circumferential direction. The bottom of AACB is sealed with a steel plate by welding or a blind plate and the top of ACCB is fixed to cylindrical tank with a flange. The solid catalysts are packed in the ACCB.

    Abstract: A brushless motor includes a stator comprising a stator core with teeth protruding inwardly and windings wound on the teeth, and a rotor comprising a shaft, a rotor core fixed to the shaft, and a ring magnet fixed to the circumferential outer surface of the rotor core. The ring magnet includes a plurality of magnetic poles radially magnetized so that north poles and south poles are arranged alternately in the circumferential direction, boundary lines between adjacent magnetic poles being skewed by an angle ? relative to an axis of the shaft. A plurality of grooves are formed in a circumferential outer surface of the rotor core. Each groove extends from one axial end to the other axial end of the rotor core, has a circumferential width smaller than each of the magnetic poles, and is covered by the ring magnet with a void formed between the groove and the ring magnet.
