    Abstract: A method of attenuating interbed multiples in multiply-reflected seismic waves is performed at a computer system, the method comprising: providing multiple beams of seismic data and an earth model related to a geological volume; selecting one of the beams as an input beam associated with a pair of source and detector located near a top surface of the geological volume; determining at least one of (i) a source-side stationary pegleg arrival and a corresponding detector-side primary beam and (ii) a detector-side stationary pegleg arrival and a corresponding source-side primary beam; predicting an interbed multiples beam using at least one of (i) the detector-side primary beam delayed by the source-side stationary pegleg arrival and (ii) the source-side primary beam delayed by the detector-side stationary pegleg arrival; and deconvolving the predicted interbed multiples beam with the input beam to remove at least a portion of interbed multiples present in the input beam.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for achieving four-bit storage by using a flash memory having a splitting trench gate. The flash memory with the splitting trench gate is disclosed in a Chinese patent No. 200710105964.2. At one side that each of two trenches is contacted with a channel, a programming for electrons is achieved by using a channel hot electron injection method; and at the other side that each of the two trenches is contacted with a source or a drain, a programming for electrons is achieved by using an FN injection method, so that a function of a four-bit storage of the device is achieved by changing a programming mode. Thus, a performance of the device is improved while a storage density is greatly increased.

    Abstract: A bottom door opening-closing mechanism includes a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod, a swing rod, a bottom door opening-closing drive cylinder and a transmission shaft. The swing rod is hinged to the second connecting rod and the piston rod of the bottom door opening-closing drive cylinder. One end of the first connecting rod is hinged to the second connecting rod, and the transmission shaft is connected to the second connecting rod. The cylinder body of the bottom door opening-closing drive cylinder is fixedly connected with a first locking hook, and the swing rod is fixedly connected with a second locking hook which can be caught by the first locking hook. A bottom door device and a drop-bottom hopper car are further provided. In the present invention, the first locking hook and the second locking hook are caught with each other to achieve a secondary locking. Such an arrangement has some advantages such as a simple structure and low manufacture and maintenance costs.

    Abstract: Method for estimating NOx creation in a combustion process of an engine including a variable volume combustion chamber includes monitoring engine sensor inputs including a cylinder pressure within the combustion chamber. A mass fraction burn value for combustion can be modeled within the combustion chamber based upon said sensor inputs, wherein said mass fraction burn value indexes a crank angle at which a selected percentage of injected fuel is burned in a combustion cycle. The state of combustion within the combustion chamber can be estimated based upon the mass fraction burn value, the state of combustion including a combustion phasing and a combustion strength. NOx creation within the combustion chamber can be estimated with a non-linear function based upon said state of combustion.

The method includes acquiring 3D echo images of the patient's anatomy using ultrasound waves, selecting a filter that reduces noise in the 3D echo images, selecting a segmentation algorithm to segment the filtered 3D echo images, selecting at least one additional segmentation algorithm to subsequently segment the segmented 3D echo images, creating a 3D digital model, and outputting the 3D digital model as the 3D replica of the patient's anatomy. The method also includes acquiring other 3D images using MRI/CT scans, creating another 3D digital model, determining a scaling factor to scale the other 3D digital model to correspond to a size of the 3D digital model created using ultrasound waves, combining the 3D digital model and the other 3D digital model, and outputting the combined 3D digital models.

    Abstract: An apparatus for reducing laser speckle cooperates with a laser light source and comprises a light guide tube and a vibration element coupled on the light guide tube. The light guide tube includes an input member corresponding to the laser light source, an output member far away from the laser light source, and a chamber allowing a laser beam which is emitted by the laser light source to perform total reflection inside. The vibration element is arranged at a region between the input member and the output member to drive the light guide tube to vibrate reciprocally along a direction not parallel to the axis of the light guide tube. The vibration element controls the light guide tube to perform swift, reciprocal and high-frequency vibration to destroy coherence of the laser beam. Thus the laser beam can be output uniformly to avoid laser speckles caused by light interference.

Methods may include forming a lower electrode layer, a resistive layer, a Si layer and a SiO2 layer over a substrate; fabricating a Al electrode layer over the SiO2 layer; and performing an anneal process to the resultant structure. Consistent with innovations herein, a small electrode may be obtained via a conventional process.
