  • Patent number: 7742763
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for providing Customized Applications for Mobile network Enhanced Logic (CAMEL) Subscription Information (CSI) of an outbound roamer of a Home Public Mobile Network (HPMN) such that the outbound roamer is roaming in a Visited Public Mobile Network (VPMN). The system comprises a roamers database storing an outbound roamer record of at least one outbound roamer, wherein the outbound roamer record comprises at least the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) of the outbound roamer. The system further comprises a detection block to detect whether provisioning of the CSI is required for the outbound roamer and a CSI generation block to generate the CSI of the outbound roamer based on at least the IMSI of the outbound roamer, if the provisioning of the CSI is required. The system further comprises a provisioning block to provision the generated CSI of the outbound roamer to at least one CSI storing node.

  • Publication number: 20100128685
Abstract: A method for facilitating exchange of one or more signaling messages between a client network and an HSRP network. The method includes identifying by an SPRS router associated with a client network, one or more parameters in the received signaling messages so as to determine from the parameters one or more roaming agreements that are required between the client network and the HSRP network, to allow exchange of the signaling messages. The method further includes facilitating by the SPRS router, exchange of the signaling messages between the client network and the HSRP network via one or more SPRS hubs, when the SPRS router determines absence of the required roaming agreements. The method further includes facilitating by the SPRS router, direct exchange of the signaling messages between the client network and the HSRP network, when the SPRS router determines presence of the required roaming agreements.

  • Publication number: 20090061860
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for facilitating roaming tests for a host network. The method includes creating a fake profile via a gateway associated with the host network for a roaming subscriber at a Mobile Switching Center (MSC)/Visiting Location Register (VLR). The MSC/VLR is associated with at least one of the host network and a roaming partner network of the host network. The roaming subscriber is associated with both the host network and the roaming partner network. The method further includes simulating via the gateway, transactions with a first network element associated with at least one of the host network and the roaming partner network to test at least one of the first network element's response for the simulated transactions, and network routing on the roaming subscriber to a second network element associated with at least one of the host network and the roaming partner network.

  • Patent number: 7496090
Abstract: Inbound Roamer Multimedia Messaging Systems (“IRMMS”) are described that transfer Welcome Multimedia Messages (“MM”) (“WMM”) or Welcome Roaming Content (“WRC”) to devices of inbound roamers. The IRMMS transfers MMs to inbound roamers without involving components of the corresponding home network (HPMN). The MMs include text messages, music clips, voice clips, video clips, photographs, and drawings, but are not so limited. Use of the IRMMS eliminates payment by a VPMN with which a subscriber is roaming to the subscriber's HPMN because components of the HPMN are not included in the transfer of the MMs. Thus, charges typically incurred by the VPMN for transmission of free WMM/WRC sent to the inbound roamer via the HPMN are avoided.
