  • Publication number: 20170097958
Abstract: Retrieving data records from a database is provided. A query is received by a database access API requesting a number of data records stored in the database. A parallel batch processor is created for data transmittal, and the parallel batch processor is returned to a client program. A next data record responsive to the query is requested, and the next data record is removed from a list of records. The next data record is then provided from the parallel batch processor to the client program.

  • Patent number: 9199885
Abstract: In order to render sewage sludge suitable for beneficial purposes, it must be disinfected and stabilized. EDC deactivation is rapidly becoming a desirable result of any sludge or biosolids treatment process. Disclosed herein is a process of treating sewage sludge so as to stabilize the sludge that involves the presence of an iron-containing compound during dewatering of the sludge. Process embodiments described also achieve biosolid samples that have reduced EDC activity, Other embodiments disclosed involve use of a combination of iron salts ferrate and ferric chloride that are added to wastewater sludge in the dewatering step before heat drying. The biosolids resulting from sludge treated with aniron-containing compound are able to resist putrefaction for more than two to three weeks.

  • Patent number: 9053277
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for clock tree construction across clock domains, an integrated circuit and fabrication method thereof. A method for clock tree construction includes acquiring a netlist describing an integrated circuit (IC), comprising data for describing physical locations and logic connections of clock sinks belonging to multiple clock domains on the pattern of the IC, and constructing the clock tree across clock domains based on the netlist, such that clock cells belonging to different clock domains can share more physical locations. • Publication number: 20140127752
Abstract: A composition and method of cleaving a target DNA and isolating a DNA sequence of interest, directed by a targeting oligonucleotide (“ON”) including a DNA binding agent (stable or unstable), is disclosed. The targeting ON binds to the target DNA before or during DNA cleavage. After cleavage, the isolation of the DNA fragment of interest is facilitated by the affinity tag on the targeting ON or an affinity tag attached using either ligation or polymerase extension method.

  • Patent number: 8604409
Abstract: The present invention relates to a photosensitive detector with a composite dielectric gate MOSFET structure and its signal readout method. The MOSFET structure detector is formed on a p-type semiconductor substrate. N-type semiconductor regions locate on the two sides of the top part of the p-type semiconductor substrate to form a source and a drain. An underlying dielectric layer, a photo-electron storage layer, a top dielectric layer, and a control gate are stacked on the substrate in sequence. The top insulating dielectric layer can prevent the photoelectrons stored in the photo-electron storage layer from leaking into the control gate. The source and the drain are floating when photoelectrons are collected and injected into the photoelectron storing layer to be held therein. There is a transparent or semi-transparent window for detecting incident light forming on the substrate or gate surface.

  • Publication number: 20130155768
Abstract: A localized trapping multi-level memory cell operating method includes the following steps. First, a localized trapping memory cell with the initial threshold voltage of ˜2.5V is provided. Next, an erasing operation is performed to obtain a negative threshold level which has the uniform distribution along the channel region. Taking into account the over-erasure issue in the erasing course, a programming operation is performed to precisely adjust the threshold voltage to a predetermined level of ?2V˜?1V. Then, with the negative voltage as a new initial state, corresponding programming operation is performed and electrons are locally injected the storage layer. By controlling the quantity of injected electrons, the MLC storage is achieved.
