    Abstract: Disclosed are a slow-release inhibitor for high-magnesium sulfide mineral flotation and an application thereof, where the inhibitor is a nano colloidal particle of an alkaline earth fluoride such as CaF2 and BaF2 or a highly-reactive natural alkaline earth metal mineral powder. When applied to the flotation separation of a high-magnesium sulfide ore, the inhibitor can slowly release F ions to preferentially form a MgF2 layer on the magnesium-containing mineral surface, which provides a structure similar to MgF2 on a surface of oxidized gangue minerals such as magnesium oxide, changing surface electrical property of the magnesium-containing mineral, inhibiting heterogeneous coagulation of magnesium-containing minerals and sulfide ores due to electrostatic attraction and reducing entrainment, enveloping and agglomeration of gangue minerals to efficiently inhibit the flotation of oxidized gangue minerals such as magnesium oxide.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to apparatus and methods for performing electron beam reactive plasma etching. In one embodiment, an apparatus for performing EBRPE processes includes an electrode formed from a material having a high secondary electron emission coefficient. The electrode has an electron emitting surface disposed at a nonparallel angle relative to a major axis of a substrate assembly. The EBRPE apparatus may further comprise a capacitive or inductive coupled plasma generator. In another embodiment, methods for etching a substrate include generating a plasma and bombarding an electrode with ions from the plasma to cause the electrode to emit electrons. The electrons are accelerated toward a substrate to induce directional etching of the substrate. During the EBPRE process, the substrate or electrode is actuated through a process volume during the etching.

    Abstract: A method for determining the diffusion radius of in-situ injection and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. According to the triangle method, the hole spacing is perpendicular to the groundwater flow direction, the row spacing is along the groundwater flow direction, and the flow diffusion in the groundwater during the effective time of the remediation agent reaction is considered. Under high pressure rotary injection, the remediation agent and a certain proportion of bromide ions are simultaneously injected into the aquifer as a tracer. The diffusion of the agent is determined by observing the phenomenon of slurry-returning and slurry-channeling of adjacent injection points. After the completion of the injection, the groundwater is quickly sampled in fixed depth, the tracer concentration is quickly detected on site, and the concentration of bromide ions in the groundwater is compared with the background value. Comprehensive determination determines the optimal diffusion radius.

Moreover, a new BSR triggering condition is proposed to report new data based on particular events instead of being time-based. Modifications being proposed to both BSR and SR can be customized for different numerologies/transmission time intervals (TTIs). Modifications being proposed to SR can also be used to indicate a user equipment (UE) new beam selection after recovering from a beam failure.

The disclosure analyzes historical data of wind power output, and uses statistical or fitting software to perform Gaussian mixture model fitting. Newton method is to solve quantiles of random variables obeying Gaussian mixture model, so that chances constraints are transformed into deterministic linear constraints, thus transforming original problem to convex optimization problem with linear constraints. Finally, the model is solved to obtain look-ahead dispatch. The disclosure employs Newton method to transform chance constraints containing risk level and random variables into deterministic linear constraints, which effectively improves model solution efficiency, eliminates conservative nature of conventional robust, provides reasonable dispatch for decision makers.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides a stochastic dynamical unit commitment method for power system based on solving quantiles via Newton method, belonging to power system technologies. The method establishes a unit commitment model with chance constraints for power system parameters. Quantiles of random variables obeying mixed Gaussian distribution is solved by Newton method, and chance constraints are transformed into deterministic linear constraints, so that original problem is transformed into mixed integer linear optimization problem.
