By directly preparing a catalyst in a reaction system, the entire chemical production process is simplified, the catalyst preparation and transfer steps are saved, and the operation thereof is easy. The catalyst prepared in situ can be directly used for in situ reactions.

    Abstract: A payment processing device can implement a monitoring system to detect for tamper attempts at a chip card interface. The monitoring system can establish a baseline when no chip card is present in the chip card interface, or in some embodiments, when it is known that an authentic chip card 14 is present in the slot 21. During subsequent evaluations of the chip card interface by the monitoring system, a response received by the monitoring system that deviates from the baseline can indicate that a tamper attempt at the chip card interface may have occurred. If a tamper attempt is determined by the monitoring system, a remedial or corrective action can be taken.

    Abstract: Embodiments include a method for retrieving atmospheric aerosol based on statistical segmentation. Firstly a multi-band remote sensing image including an apparent reflectance and an aerosol optical thickness look-up table corresponding to a retrieval band is obtained, then pixels are partitioned and screened according to apparent reflectance segments of a mid-infrared 2.1 micrometer band. After that the retained pixel sets are further partitioned and screened according to the apparent reflectance segments of the mid-infrared 1.6 micrometer band. Finally the obtained pixel sets are partitioned into two categories according to the pixel number, one category including pixels having more pixels, the other including those with less pixels. The category with more pixels is taken as the reference part for retrieval.

The source computing device is additionally configured to determine an amount of previously captured tokens present in a token bucket, determine whether there are a sufficient number of tokens available in the token bucket to transmit the received packet as a function of the switch time delta, the host scheduler time delta, and the amount of previously captured tokens present in the token bucket, and schedule the received network packet for transmission upon a determination that sufficient tokens in the token bucket.

Each of the plurality of blocks includes data having a same logic channel identifier and a same header. A leading boundary and a trailing boundary of each of the plurality of blocks are aligned with one of: a leading boundary and a trailing boundary of a symbol; or a leading boundary and a trailing boundary of a code block. In additional aspects, a receiver receives these plurality of blocks within a single transmission time interval (TTI), and decodes a plurality of protocol data units in the plurality of blocks.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides a stochastic look-ahead dispatch method for power system based on Newton method, belonging to power system dispatch technologies. The disclosure analyzes historical data of wind power output, and uses statistical or fitting software to perform Gaussian mixture model fitting. A dispatch model with chance constraints is established for system parameters. Newton method is to solve quantiles of random variables obeying Gaussian mixture model, so that chance constraints are transformed into deterministic linear constraints, thus transforming original problem to convex optimization problem with linear constraints. Finally, the model is solved to obtain look-ahead dispatch. The disclosure employs Newton method to transform chance constraints containing risk level and random variables into deterministic linear constraints, which effectively improves model solution efficiency, and provides reasonable dispatch for decision makers.
