  • Publication number: 20210064543
Abstract: A system detects a request for an access operation relating to an address of a component of a memory sub-system, determines a number of access operations pertaining to the particular address using at least one of a plurality of counters. The plurality of counters comprises an extended counter corresponding to an extended period of time and a recent counter corresponding to a recent period of time. The system assigns an access frequency classification to at least one of the address or the component of the memory sub-system based on the number of access operations pertaining to the particular address.

  • Patent number: 10923916
Abstract: The disclosure provides a stochastic dynamical unit commitment method for power system based on solving quantiles via Newton method, belonging to power system technologies. The method establishes a unit commitment model with chance constraints for power system parameters. Quantiles of random variables obeying mixed Gaussian distribution is solved by Newton method, and chance constraints are transformed into deterministic linear constraints, so that original problem is transformed into mixed integer linear optimization problem. Finally, the model is solved to obtain on-off strategy and active power plan of units. The disclosure employs Newton method to transform chance constraints containing risk level and random variables into deterministic mixed integer linear constraints, which effectively improves the model solution efficiency, eliminates conservative nature of conventional robust unit commitment, provides reasonable dispatch basis for decision makers.

  • Publication number: 20210034570
Abstract: Techniques manage snapshots in an application environment. The application environment includes a first application system and a second application system. A group of snapshots of the first application system are identified in a fracture state where synchronous communication between the first application system and the second application system is paused. A group of snapshot differences between two successive snapshots in the group of snapshots are obtained, the group of snapshots being arranged in chronological order that the group of snapshots are generated. The group of snapshot differences are transmitted from the first application system to the second application system in response to determining the synchronous communication between the first application system and the second application system is resumed.

  • Publication number: 20200344631
Abstract: Various techniques are proposed to enhance or expand the capabilities or usage of buffer status request (BSR) and scheduling request (SR) in new radio (NR) applications. In an implementation, techniques are proposed to extend the SR in long term evolution (LTE) baseline with additional information to help a base station (e.g., gNB) schedule faster and more efficiently. Moreover, a new BSR triggering condition is proposed to report new data based on particular events instead of being time-based. Modifications being proposed to both BSR and SR can be customized for different numerologies/transmission time intervals (TTIs). Modifications being proposed to SR can also be used to indicate a user equipment (UE) new beam selection after recovering from a beam failure.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for managing jitter resulting from processing through a network interface pipeline are disclosed. In embodiments, a network traffic scheduler annotates packets to be transmitted over a bandwidth-limited network connection with time relationship information to ensure downstream bandwidth limitations are not violated. Following processing through a network interface pipeline, a jitter shaper inspects the annotated time relationship information and pipeline-imposed delays and, by imposing a variable delay, reestablishes bandwidth-complaint time relationships based upon the annotated time relationship information and configured tolerances.

  • Publication number: 20200324300
Abstract: Disclosed are a slow-release inhibitor for high-magnesium sulfide mineral flotation and an application thereof, where the inhibitor is a nano colloidal particle of an alkaline earth fluoride such as CaF2 and BaF2 or a highly-reactive natural alkaline earth metal mineral powder. When applied to the flotation separation of a high-magnesium sulfide ore, the inhibitor can slowly release F ions to preferentially form a MgF2 layer on the magnesium-containing mineral surface, which provides a structure similar to MgF2 on a surface of oxidized gangue minerals such as magnesium oxide, changing surface electrical property of the magnesium-containing mineral, inhibiting heterogeneous coagulation of magnesium-containing minerals and sulfide ores due to electrostatic attraction and reducing entrainment, enveloping and agglomeration of gangue minerals to efficiently inhibit the flotation of oxidized gangue minerals such as magnesium oxide.

  • Publication number: 20200266632
Abstract: The disclosure provides a stochastic look-ahead dispatch method for power system based on Newton method, belonging to power system dispatch technologies. The disclosure analyzes historical data of wind power output, and uses statistical or fitting software to perform Gaussian mixture model fitting. A dispatch model with chances constraints is established for system parameters. Newton method is to solve quantiles of random variables obeying Gaussian mixture model, so that chances constraints are transformed into deterministic linear constraints, thus transforming original problem to convex optimization problem with linear constraints. Finally, the model is solved to obtain look-ahead dispatch. The disclosure employs Newton method to transform chance constraints containing risk level and random variables into deterministic linear constraints, which effectively improves model solution efficiency, eliminates conservative nature of conventional robust, provides reasonable dispatch for decision makers.
