  • Patent number: 6817061
Abstract: A hinge for a cellular phone that has a cover and a base comprises an inner sleeve, an outer sleeve and a spring. The spring is mounted between the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve and provides a torsion force to open the cover. A layer of buffering gel is applied the outer surface of the inner sleeve between the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve to damp the opening rate of the cover so that the pivoting device can keep a wire between the cover and the base from breaking.

  • Publication number: 20040224797
Abstract: A basketball game device includes a backboard to which a mount is attached for supporting a rim loop ring. A detector is mounted to an underside of the mount and transmits ultrasonic waves to a work space below the rim loop ring. The work space has an outer bound beyond distance of a remote edge of the rim loop ring. A valid distance within the remote edge of the rim loop ring is set in the detector. The detector repeatedly generates ultrasonic waves toward an object and detects the reflected signals representing a series of data corresponding to distances of the object. If the first data of the series of data indicates a distance shorter than the valid distance, the goal is considered legal and if the first data is a distance greater than the valid distance, the goal is illegal.

  • Publication number: 20030040382
Abstract: An inductive score device comprises a casing, a cantilever, a resilient member, and a photoelectric element, wherein the cantilever is rotatable and normally held horizontally in the casing by taking advantage of the resilient member and a counterbalance mechanism, and is depressible downwardly by an external force and restorable by the resilient member every time the external force is removed. When the cantilever is moved downwardly, an interruption piece thereof will interrupt the light route of the photoelectric element to change the state thereof and trigger the score device to count automatically.

  • Publication number: 20020173750
Abstract: A syringe device includes a core member received in the plunger and the core member is fixedly connected to a base member to which a needle cannula is connected. When the plunger is pulled, the base member is pulled into the barrel. Two flexible protrusions extend from the plunger and which expand wide when the plunger is pulled to a desired position. The expanded flexible protrusions limit the plunger from being pushed into the barrel again.

  • Publication number: 20020120788
Abstract: A method and system may process messages in real time. The computer may analyze the received message in advance when receiving a message from the sender, which means the computer may determine whether or not the received message is the specific message which needs to be processed in real time. If the received message is specific, then, according to the setting reminding method, the system may utilize shaking of the mouse, sending out voice or light or displaying an image on the screen to remind the users. The users thus may respond to the message immediately, which may eliminate the delay of the important message.

  • Patent number: 5038842
Abstract: A nesting bag comprises a 3-bag combination and a strap. The three bags of the combination are so dimensioned that they are slidably disposed within one another, leaving two suitable spaces between the bottoms of the inner and middle bags as well as between the bottoms of the middle and outer bags respectively. The spaces grow larger when and after the inner and middle bas are pulled upwards relative to the middle and outer bags respectively. U-shaped zippers are horizontally provided on the top and bottom of the inner bag and on the bottom of the middle bag. When these zippers are pulled closed, the three bags can be used separately and when they are pulled open, the three bags can be used as a single, larger unit, instead. A U-shaped zipper is vertically provided on one side of the outer bag for conveniently putting objects into and taking them out of the outer bag.
