  • Publication number: 20120231883
Abstract: On the basis of data based on an attitude and/or a motion of a portable display apparatus body, an action of a player object placed in a virtual world is controlled, and on the basis of a position and/or an attitude of the player object, it is determined whether or not the player object has received an attack. Further, when the player object has received a predetermined attack, an attack effect image representing an effect of the predetermined attack is generated, and a first image is generated by superimposing the attack effect image on an image of the virtual world and displayed on the portable display apparatus. Then, the effect of the predetermined attack in an area in the attack effect image is repaired, the area overlapping a predetermined range whose center is a touch position on a touch panel.

  • Publication number: 20120229510
Abstract: An action of a first object placed in a virtual world is controlled on the basis of body state data output from a portable display apparatus. An action of a second object placed in the virtual world is controlled on the basis of touch position data based on a touch position on a touch panel provided on a surface of a display screen of the portable display apparatus. Then, a first image including at least a part of the first object and at least a part of the second object is generated, and the first image is displayed on the portable display apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20120229516
Abstract: An object arranged in a virtual world is caused to move in accordance with data based on a load applied to a load detection device. Then, based on attitude data outputted from a portable display device and a position of the object in the virtual world, a first virtual camera for generating an image of the virtual world is controlled, and a first image representing the virtual world viewed from the first virtual camera is displayed on the portable display device.

  • Publication number: 20110101498
Abstract: An arrangement method of a semiconductor device including external connection terminals and inductors, the terminals being arranged at a predetermined pitch in a lattice pattern is provided. The method includes determining the arrangement of the terminals, determining a maximum width of air-core portions of the inductors, drawing first virtual lines passing a central position between two adjacent ones of the terminals in a first direction, drawing second virtual lines passing a central position between two adjacent ones of the terminals in a direction orthogonal to the first direction, determining a permissible range of distances between the first and second virtual lines nearest to each inductor and the inductor center, and arranging the inductors such that at least one of a distance between the nearest first virtual line and the inductor center and a distance between the nearest second virtual line and the inductor center falls within the permissible range.

  • Publication number: 20110077899
Abstract: A game apparatus calculates a load value detected by a load controller, and a center-of-gravity position of a player, at predetermined time intervals. Based on the calculated center-of-gravity position, the game apparatus firstly determines whether or not the center of gravity moves, and determines the direction of the movement. Then, the game apparatus determines a change of the load of the player within a predetermined time period. When the amount of increase of the load is equal to or higher than a threshold value, the game apparatus determines that the player swings his/her hip in the direction in which the center of gravity moves.

  • Publication number: 20110077088
Abstract: A CPU of a game apparatus sequentially obtains, from a gravity center position detection device, gravity center position data indicative of the gravity center position of a user, and detects a variation range of the gravity center position of the user during a predetermined period to the current time, based on previously obtained gravity center position data. In addition, the CPU executes a predetermined information process based on a relative position of a gravity center position, indicated by a latest gravity center position data, with respect to the variation range detected thus.

  • Patent number: 7598866
Abstract: An electronic service providing system according to an embodiment of the invention includes: a cell phone; a server device for providing an electronic service; and a wireless tag providing unit for providing necessary information for receiving an electronic service like an ID or password with the information stored in the RFID wireless tag. The wireless tag providing unit sends a request for an electronic service to the server device and receives necessary information. The necessary information is written to the wireless tag. The server device 4 transmits necessary information to the wireless tag providing unit in response to the request. The cell phone reads necessary information from the wireless tag of the wireless tag providing unit, and an electronic service such as contents data is received from the server device based on the necessary information. Hence, it is possible to receive an electronic service from anywhere irrespective of place and service type.
