  • Patent number: 12210674
Abstract: A tracking system uses one or more light sources to direct light toward one or more of a user's eyes. A dynamic vision sensor (DVS) operably coupled to a processor is configured to view the user's eyes. The DVS has an array of light-sensitive elements in a known configuration. The DVS outputs signals corresponding to events at corresponding light-sensitive elements in the array in response to changes in light from the light sources reflecting from a portion of the user's eyes. The output signals include information corresponding to locations of the corresponding light-sensitive elements in the array. The processor determines an association between each event and a corresponding particular light source and fits an orientation of the user's eyes using the determined association, the relative location of the light sources with respect to the user's eyes and the locations of the corresponding light-sensitive elements in the array.

The sputtering target is a nonmagnetic material-dispersed sputtering target containing Fe, Pt and Ge. The sputtering target includes at least one magnetic phase satisfying a composition represented by (Fe1-?Pt?)1-?Ge?, as expressed in an atomic ratio for Fe, Pt and Ge, in which ? and ? represent numbers meeting 0.35???0.55 and 0.05???0.2, respectively. The magnetic phase has a ratio (SGe30mass %/SGe) of 0.5 or less. The ratio (SGe30mass %/SGe) is an average area ratio of Ge-based alloy phases containing a Ge concentration of 30% by mass or more (SGe30mass %) to an area ratio of Ge (SGe) calculated from the entire composition of the sputtering target, in element mapping by EPMA of a polished surface obtained by polishing a cross section perpendicular to a sputtering surface of the sputtering target.

  • Publication number: 20240335942
Abstract: Techniques for simulating fast eye movement of a robot to mimic human eye saccade are divulged in cases of the robot eyes being moved by actuators that cannot move the eyes fast enough in real time to mimic saccade. Image capture timing is adjusted (i.e., slowed down) to track the speed of the actuators. Then, the resulting sequence of images is time-compressed back to video playback speed so that the video appears to show the robot eye undergoing saccade at human eye speeds.

  • Patent number: 12064682
Abstract: A position and orientation of a controller are determined from a known configuration of two or more light sources with respect to each other and with respect to a controller body and from output signals from a dynamic vision sensor (DVS) generated in response to changes in light output from the light sources.
