  • Publication number: 20100181164
Abstract: There is provided a handrail for passenger conveyor in which it is possible to give a prescribed strength to a junction of a canvas and it is possible to prevent vibrations and noises which might be generated when a driving roller passes by the junction of the canvas. For this purpose, a canvas is provided along an inner surface of an annular core body having a C-shaped cross section, which is formed from a thermoplastic elastomer material, and a surface of each of adjacent end portions of the canvas in a junction is formed to be indented toward the core body side compared to surfaces of other portions which form an inner surface of a handrail. An application cloth is provided between the end portions of the canvas so as to cover a gap formed between the end portions of the canvas.

  • Publication number: 20100058024
Abstract: A processor includes a CPU core which executes a user program, and a data transfer apparatus. The CPU core stores a transfer request from a user program in a specific area of a main memory, in which the transfer request specifies the virtual addresses of a transfer source and a transfer destination in a memory space allocated to the user program. The data transfer apparatus refers to the specific area of the main memory and acquires a transfer request asynchronously to processing performed by the CPU core. The data transfer apparatus then identifies physical addresses corresponding to virtual addresses specified in the transfer request. After that, the data transfer apparatus transcribes original data stored in a storage area indicated by the physical address of the transfer source, to a storage area in a cache memory related to the virtual address or physical address of the transfer destination.

  • Patent number: 7446816
Abstract: A data broadcasting receiving terminal receives a data broadcasting signal from a broadcasting station to detect print-out data and a control signal associated with print-out from the data broadcasting signal. The data broadcasting receiving terminal, at a time point of the start of broadcasting, notifies an image forming apparatus of the detected print-out data and printing prohibition data included in the control signal associated with print-out. The data broadcasting receiving terminal acquires a preparation time required for print-out from the image forming apparatus and a time of restoration from a power saving mode and issues a command of printing start, in consideration of the time requirements, to the image forming apparatus so that print-out data is printed out at predetermined timing.

  • Patent number: 7286165
Abstract: This invention is a digital still camera having a coded data quantity monitoring circuit (9). This monitoring circuit (9) detects the quantity of data of an image signal compressed by a JPEG compression circuit (7). When a CPU (10) judges that the quantity of data detected by the coded data quantity monitoring circuit (9) is equal to or more than a maximum coded data quantity S, first, an image pickup element (3) is caused to pick up an image of an object again and output a different image signal, and a quantization table to be used in a quantization circuit (21) is changed. Next, the different image data is compressed by being DCT-transformed by a DCT circuit (20), then quantized by the quantization circuit (21) and coded by a coding circuit (22). The compressed different image signal is recorded to a memory card (13). In this case, the different image signal is recorded into an area where an image signal has been recorded in advance on the memory card (13).

  • Patent number: 7024500
Abstract: In a printing system in which with a plurality of different types of controllers connected to one serial bus, different types of print data can be inputted to and printed by a printing unit. When a set top box and desktop and portable personal computers, different in type from each other, are connected to a IEEE 1394 serial bus, screen data is outputted from the set top box to an AV/C printer and PDL data is outputted from the personal computers to the AV/C printer. The AV/C printer judges the image type of the input data. Based on the image type, the printing system converts the print data to a type of print data supported by the AV/C printer.
