  • Patent number: 5859486
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a low cost, high performance, thin structure rotary motor for driving medium used in magnetic disk drive unit, optical disk drive unit or the like, in order to improve the productivity of terminating processing and the reliability of the coils. Magnetic materials which are divided to a plurality of blocks or divided corresponding to respective magnetic pole teeth are connected by means of thin portions. The respective magnetic pole teeth are wound continuously with wire without cutting the wire at the positions in which the thin portions are connected. When a stator is assembled, a plurality of blocks or magnetic pole teeth are disposed on a substrate by separating or bending the thin portions.

  • Patent number: 5547437
Abstract: A shift control system of an automatic transmission includes a first element which is to be released in a shift operation, a second element which is to be engaged in the shift operation, and a target shift time set section for setting a target time period of the shift operation needed for releasing the first frictional element and engaging the second frictional element. A shift time calculation section is provided for obtaining an actual time period of the shift operation needed for releasing the first frictional element and engaging the second frictional element, and a releasing pressure control section is provided for receiving output of the target shift time set section and the shift time calculation section for controlling a releasing pressure of the first frictional element in the shift operation based on the difference between the target and actual time periods of the shift operation.

  • Patent number: 5453658
Abstract: A deflection yoke includes a hollow funnel-shaped tapered piece, a first set of winding hooks provided on a small-aperture portion of the tapered piece, a second set of winding hooks provided on a large-aperture portion of the tapered piece, and a deflection coil including first through n-th winding bundles. The first winding bundle includes a bundle of conductor wound onto a center winding hook at the center of the first set of winding hooks and onto the second winding hooks. The second winding bundle includes a bundle of conductor wound onto the center winding hook, the winding hooks adjacent thereto on either side, and onto the second winding hooks. The third and subsequent winding bundles include bundles of conductors wound onto the center winding hook, a plurality of winding hooks adjacent thereto on either side, and onto the second winding hooks. The first through n-th winding bundles are wound onto the first set of winding hooks in a same direction, and aligned on the first set of winding hooks.

  • Patent number: 5256856
Abstract: This invention involves a MIG welding method for aluminum alloys to prevent the formation and deposition of black powder on or around the weldment's bead. By using pure aluminum wire or aluminum alloy wire containing less than 2.5 wt% the base of alloying components as the consumable electrode wire and using aluminum alloy wire as the filler wire 3, the consumable electrode wire 2 and the filler wire 3 are fed into the a metal bath under a certain weight ratio, so that the alloy composition of the molten metal bath is equivalent to that of the base of the black powder on the both sides of the weldment's bead can be is avoided.
