  • Patent number: 9895934
Abstract: In a pneumatic tire that includes strip members which extends in a tire circumferential direction, both ends thereof reaching each bead portion, a belt layer is disposed in a tread portion on an outer side in a tire radial direction of the strip members. The strip members are divided in the tire width direction, and the divided strip members have joints that join together in the tire circumferential direction. Relative positions of the joints are disposed deviated by not less than 20° in the tire circumferential direction within a region between an edge of a maximum width in the tire width direction of the belt layer and a maximum tire width position.

  • Patent number: 9836051
Abstract: Automated drive assisting devices, methods, and programs acquire position specifying information for specifying a vehicle position during travel, and acquire a continuity degree that represents a degree to which automated drive can be continued on the basis of the position specifying information acquired during the automated drive. The devices, methods, and programs determine whether the automated drive can be continued on the basis of the acquired continuity degree, and determine vehicle control information for controlling a vehicle such that the continuity degree becomes higher on the basis of the acquired position specifying information in the case where it is determined that the automated drive cannot be continued. The devices, methods, and programs output the determined vehicle control information to a vehicle control device that controls the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20170182962
Abstract: An airbag includes a main inflation portion, in which an inflator is arranged, and an auxiliary inflation portion, the volume of which is smaller than that of the main inflation portion. The main inflation portion is deployed forward in a space between an occupant and a side wall of the vehicle. Prior to the deployment of the main inflation portion outside the seat back, the auxiliary inflation portion is inflated inside the seat back with inflation gas from the inflator to push the occupant toward the inner side. The main inflation portion and the auxiliary inflation portion each have a communication port that connects the main inflation portion and the auxiliary inflation portion to each other. The airbag includes an inflation promoting structure, which promotes the inflation of the auxiliary inflation portion compared to the inflation of the main inflation portion.

  • Publication number: 20170182963
Abstract: A vehicle seat with a side airbag apparatus includes a seat back having a seat frame, a side airbag apparatus having an airbag and an inflator, and an entry preventing portion. The seat frame includes a pressure receiving plate and an outer frame portion, which surrounds the pressure receiving plate. The airbag and the inflator are installed in the outer side section of the seat back. The airbag includes a main inflation portion and an auxiliary inflation portion. The auxiliary inflation portion is inflated on the front side of the pressure receiving plate prior to inflation of the main inflation portion, thereby pushing the occupant toward the inner side. The entry preventing portion prevents the auxiliary inflation portion being inflated from entering the gap between the outer frame portion and the pressure receiving plate.

  • Patent number: 9639950
Abstract: With this device, an edge pair likelihood map generation unit (120) computes edge pair likelihood which denotes the plausibility that a pixel of a pair is an edge of an estimation subject site, and generates an edge pair likelihood map which denotes the edge pair likelihood for each pixel. A continuity likelihood map generation unit (130) evaluates, upon the edge pair likelihood map, the continuity for the edge pair likelihood of a pixel which is included in a region wherein the estimate subject site is presumed, and generates a continuity likelihood map which denotes an edge pair likelihood which has continuity as a candidate region of the estimate subject site. An integrated likelihood map generation unit (140) generates an integrated likelihood map which denotes the candidate region which the continuity likelihood map denotes, refined based on a predetermined condition.
