  • Publication number: 20040028299
Abstract: A bearing unit is provided which includes a shaft (51) to support rotatably, radial bearing (55) to support the shaft (51) circumferentially, a thrust bearing (66) to support the shaft (51) in the direction of thrusting, and a housing (56) having the radial bearing (55) and thrust bearing (66) disposed therein and in which a viscous fluid (57) is filled. The housing (56) has a sealed structure except for a shaft insertion hole (65) formed therein and through which the shaft 51 is introduced. Between the outer surface of the shaft (51) and the inner surface of the shaft insertion hole (65), there is defined a gap (69) having a sufficient width to prevent the viscous fluid (57) filled in the housing (56) from leaking out of the latter. The housing (56) is formed as a one-piece structure by molding a synthetic resin.

  • Patent number: 6424613
Abstract: There is provided an iron core coil motor using an iron core coil, as a stator coil, formed by winding a coil winding around an iron core. Floating in the shaft direction of rotor is prevented with an attracting force generated by offsetting the center of magnetism of iron core of coil and the center of magnetism of rotor magnet and moreover the attracting force is set to 0.8 to 2.0 times the total weight of the rotating elements including rotor. Thereby, generation of noise and vibration can be controlled.

  • Patent number: 6005749
Abstract: A magnet is provided which holds spherical balancers in the central portion of a rotor when the rotation of the rotor is stopped. When rotations of the rotor is started, a larger torque T.sub.0 is transmitted from the rotor to the balancers. Thus, the balancers quickly start rotating. When the rotor rotates at high speed, the centrifugal force separates the balancers from the magnet and moves the same to the outer wall portion of the rotor. At this time, a torque T.sub.0 which is transmitted from the rotor to the balancer is reduced so that the balancers are moved in the circumferential direction. Thus, the automatic aligning operation is performed. The number (n) of the balancers is made to be a value obtained by the following equation:n=180/.theta.+0.5 (all digits to the right of the decimal point are discarded)wherein .theta.: angle of balancer balls disposed in the outer portion, in which .theta.=2sin.sup.
